  1. You're up.
  2. You are drafting a Minor Leaguer, and Matt Cain does not qualify.
  3. KPT's time did indeed expire. He can jump back in and make his picks at any time, but TBCS and Canuckophiles are on the clock, respectively.
  4. Tennessee basically just punched their dance ticket today, beating Florida in Gainesville. Two great things about the win, other than the likely Tourney invite- Pearl continues his absolute ownership of Donovan (7-1 lifetime) and Tennessee ruins Florida's perfect home record this season.
  5. Thanks and good night.
  6. Nice pick. I know of one owner who will hate you b/c of his love of the BoSox.
  7. Why don't you two make your picks now so that we can keep this thing moving?
  8. Well, since you care so much, how about a pick? (BTW... glad to have you. Hope it's a long ride for ya...)
  9. For the record... Because it is a different pool of players, I went ahead and began Round 6 (while Round 4 is wrapping up). Matt LaPorta to Nuke's Bombers Travis Snider to Team Bouldin
  10. Well, I can rest assured that I won't make the biggest draft mistake this year. If he starts 24 or so times this year he will finish in the top 10 for pitchers in points. You supporting Harden's pick here is interesting, considering you already questioned Liriano (called him a risk) and Halladay (because he's not exempt). There are at least 3 pitchers rated higher than Harden with exempt status after this season, and a couple of them are rated nearly 30 spots ahead of Harden. Not saying Harden was a terrible pick, but he might have been available in the 2nd round of the league draft, much less the 5th of the Expansion Draft. As a Cubs fan, I hope he's a Top 10 pitcher in the league. As a fantasy owner, He wouldn't be in my 5 man rotation right now, especially considering his shoulder questions already in the spring. Harden when healthy has a lower ERA, more strikeouts, and on a much better team meaning more likely to get wins. Wins are not a high scoring category in this league. And Harden has not been healthy in a while. He's already a candidate for shoulder surgery in 2009.
  11. Joba is one of 3 guys I would have definitely taken over Harden at this point in the draft. Good find. The fact that he was listed as a Reliever and not a starter might have hurt one or two owners who didn't think to look there.
  12. I have a feeling you won't be a cellar dweller this year. :^o Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence. Luckily, I have about 3 or 4 teams who I feel that I am better than right now.
  13. Your team, your philosophy. You don't have to defend it to me. Especially since I have been the perennial bottom dweller in this league for 3 years.

  16. OKay. Got you all recorded.
  17. You got any answer from my recent PM? You can do it the way I suggested in the PM or we can enter you into that portion of the draft for two rounds. I need to know what you want me to do.
  18. 10 payments received for a total amount of $162.48 (4 $1.13 deductions, and a $14 check..) That leaves only 5 payments outstanding.
  19. Just a quick note... For those of you who send your payment via PayPal and your PayPal is linked to a credit or debit card, it deducts $1.13 (I think) per transaction. I will give an accounting update shortly.
  20. Yeah, I had a busy night, but I am recording the pick now.
  21. Slainte, I will pick up your 2009 league fees this year. It is the least I can do for helping defend our freedoms... Eric, I will send the pay pal payment today. Got it. Thank you, and very kind gesture. Good job!
  22. sashdh44 is on the clock. 2 picks in a row.
  23. No prob. Thanks for what you do!
  24. Got it, Stefanie.
  25. The reason I would have chosen Lincecum is because he's still exempt, meaning you get two years out of him and he won't cost anything at all to keep. If I could have traded a draft pick and a player to move into the Expansion Draft, I would have and chosen Lincecum.
