  1. If you don't get mine by Wednesday, I guess, I'll just send payment again. That sucks though. Where have you sent it? To you. Yeah, I figured. Did you mail it to my home address?

  8. Yeah, I know that I took him too high in the 1st round, but after all keepers, this is like the 6th round, and that is a steal. Plus, had I waited, who knows what might have happened. Obviously a couple of you wanted him. But now he's mine for a couple of years. That's right suckas... 2 more exemptions! (Now watch him blow)
  9. Once Mooch makes his pick, I will go through and put all players onto rosters, removing them from the database and removing any confusion.

  12. Thanks Mooch. I am out of town and out of pocket until at least Sunday night. At that point, hopefully thef first round will be done and I can input players onto rosters at CBS. Thanks for doing this, sorry that I am not available.
  13. Thanks! I like the formatting, BTW. Thnk I will steal it.
  14. i made you an offer. What do you need Logan Morrison for? You have Lars Anderson, for crying out loud. If I needed a 1B, would be glad to take one of those guys off your hands, but since I picked up Alonso, it's no longer a need. Oh well, glad to see others getting in on the action!
  15. Bouldin selects Brian Roberts, 2B, Baltimore Roady on the clock
  16. Glad to see you folowed the suggestion of keeping this thread free of comments and questions. Why can't you still trade for picks?
  17. Probably? That game is for seeding, not inclusion.
  18. Because the Draft will take so long, some have suggested doing a couple of rounds offline. I am willing to begin it here and see what transpires. It is my hope that we could complete two rounds prior to the actual draft. If an owner does not make a pick, he will not lose that pick, it will just stall the draft. So, please check in regularly and be aware of your impending picks. Also, please keep this thread free from questions and comments. Draft picks only in here, please. Without further ado... Round 1 1 Nuke's Bombers: BJ Upton, CF, TB 2 Team Bouldin: Brian Roberts, 2B, Bal 3 Roady: David Ortiz, DH, Bos 4 Czar Nikita: James Shields, SP, TB 5 Minnesota Masterbatters: Alexei Ramirez, 2B/SS, CWS 6 SoCal Cubs: Derrek Lee, 1B, ChiC 7 The Big City Sliders: Brandon Phillips, 2B, Cin 8 Slainte: on the clock 9 Kingsport Copperheads 10 Canuckophiles 11 Cubbiebummin 12 Hosak 13 Hosak 14 New York A-Roids 15 Bronx DSB 16 White Soxaholics
  19. For the record, Nuke (sashdh44) has already told me his top pick. I might post it, if the 2nd owner would be willing to make a pick. We could potentially finish two rounds before draft day, which would help us out tremendously.
  20. I'm running into a meeting right now, but will respond to this later tonight.
  21. Problem there is that the market for Design jobs is SLLLOOOOOWWW. Not just there, but everywhere. Have him call Studio 4, Knoxville Magazine, the MetroPulse (won't be a high paying job), or Freeman Melancon Bryant Advertising. I worked as a Graphic Artist for two years in Knoxville, and the market there has been slow since around 2000. Not saying that there are NO jobs, but there certainly aren't many right now.
  22. How is Knoxville? I'm thinking of moving down there. My wife was accepted to the university. I live in the Knoxville area, feel free to contact me. I can help with areas to live in. Knoxville is a great area. The cost of living is very reasonable. Housing costs never got to high and they are holding their own. There are a great places to eat. Entertainment is improving. If you are into outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. you'll be in heaven. You live in Clinton, right? I grew up in North Knoxville, have lived on campus, in West Knoxville, and in Fountain City. If I ever leave where I am right now, I hope it's to get back to Knoxvegas. I love that city.
  23. It's working for me. Try it again.
  24. Expansion Draft is complete. League Draft is at least 2 weeks away. Let the trading bonanza begin. The #3 Prospect in baseball is available.
  25. How is Knoxville? I'm thinking of moving down there. My wife was accepted to the university. Knoxville is great. I miss it. Lived there for 30 years. It has small town charm, but is much larger than you think. I'd be happy to tell you all about great places to live, eat, and be entertained. Seriously, depending on where you are looking, I would recommend to anyone to live there- especially if your wife is going to school there. You will see college football in a whole new light.
