I really wish that Czar would pick. I'm ready for this stupid draft to be over, and having to check in every 30 minutes or so is annoying. I'm getting literally nothing done right now, and I would really love to spend time with my family tonight, Worst case scenario still ends this thing tonight, as the clock expires around midnight, I believe, and I already have Bouldin and Nuke's picks in.

Tried finding him as well. When I couldn't I went with the safer pick in Wallace. Yeah, I did some research, saw his low AB and immediately thought injury, then I saw it was just a contract issue. Baseball America has him #24 on their list of top 100 prospects, and MLB.com put him on their list for 2009 so I figured he's good to go. Yeah, picking him is fine. However, if the contract issue is not resolved and he has to go back into the Amateur draft, you will have to release him from your roster. I know that potentially sucks, but it's the only way to prevent opening a can of worms that we do not want to be opened. From mlb.com in September... I assume he's good to go Looks like it to me.

That is my preference as well. However, it is the Sweet 16 Round of the Tourney, if that matters to anyone else. (It does not to me, as I think March Madness is the most overrated event in all of sports.)

We need to decide on a league draft date and time, and with 16 of us, it will be nearly impossible to find a day when we are all available. I will post a poll with 4 options, and we'll likely have to go with the best option. The only other solution is to continue the same way we've done the Expansion Draft, but that has been painfully slow. Not anywhere close to a hope that I would have.

Got it. Why the break from your Minor League list that you sent me? Do I need to disregard your list, or is it only in the case that you might miss your pick? Yeah, that was just an emergency list. And since then I did a bit more research. I was close to picking a few other guys who were on that list, mainly the ones who were closer to MLB call ups, but I figured with Beckham's position and potential, it'd be wise to draft him. I think some of the players on my list might fall back to me, so I'll be happy with that Gotcha. Not a problem.

Kingsport's picks are in. Dan Uggla, 2B, Fla Alcides Escobar, SS, Mil The draft is now up to date, and Canuckophiles has a little under 2 hours to make his next pick.

Problem is that a guy like Shark is like a Rule 5 guy in this kind of league. Loses minor league eligibility in only 22 innings, and will take more than those 22 to become any sort of fantasy factor.

We'll see how many I actually get. My actual top 5 were already on other teams. Your actual Top 5? On a submitted list, or just your 5 top Minor Leaguers in your mind? The list I sent you was the list of favorites that are not on a roster. My actual top 5 would be a bit different if I could have anyone. You and the Red Sox guy had quite a few I wouldn't mind having. I'm always looking for a trade.
