    Juan Pierre: He sucked so bad at the plate it hurt, his defense in the outfield was ridiculously bad, and he all around stunk at baseball. And yet everyone kept saying how awesome he was and 60 steals and some BS, while we gave up 3 minor league pitchers for one year of him. The whole thing just reeks of Cubbie ineptitude.

    I'd be pissed if I was Zambrano because of how much I sucked today. Z gave up 13 hits. 13 hits!! Six of the seven runs he allowed were earned. Zambrano sucked today, plain and simple. At least half of those should have been outs. The defense was really bad.

    I'd be pissed if I was Zambrano too. His defense let him down all friggin' day. He didn't help with no Ks, but his defense really let him down. Although it really looks like Zambrano started the fighting.

    Because they had a perfectly fine closer on their hands. Instead they trade for the "over the hill, smoke and mirrors closer with health problems". I think as Cub fans we're just trying to distance ourselves in the hope that Hendry doesn't do something similar.

    Why oh why couldn't we have spent the money earlier and signed Beltran??? I think missing him and signing Soriano will be the two biggest mistakes for the Cubs the next eight or so years.
