    My thoughts exactly. Trading for a half-year of Gagne seems redundant with Wood on the roster. Right, because Wood is giving the Cubs so many IP right now.... :roll: And how long will Gagne last on the Cubs before he's injured again? I don't buy it for a second.

    I like the approach of Pie recently. He's been very patient, not swinging at pitches that look like balls. He just needs to turn up the aggressiveness a tad. It's a balancing act, and I think he's pretty close.
