    While I'm glad, this is really petty.

    I was just thinking about this. Cubs need to dump Jones' contract. Yankees want to get rid of Abreu. Yankees also need a DH (Cliff Floyd?). I think this could very easily work out.

    I felt bad for Kobayashi. No one was rooting for him to win, and yet he still went out there with jaw tendinitis and broke his previous record. And to add to all of that, it was the judges decision because it was so close.

    Hall was not critical at all during their sprint out of the gate. He sucked, and they still went on a tear. I don't expect they'll slow down much here and they'll probably get better defense in CF.

    Why not rest Lee when he's getting his suspension served?! What a crazy lineup. You do realize though, that the Cubs will go out and prove us wrong and score like seven runs. That's just the way these things work.

    It's been Matt Capps since June, when they put Salomon Torres on the DL. A move by the way, for which he is filing a grievance as he thinks they are keeping him on there too long.

    LaRoche might finally heat up. Remember, his second half last year was just scalding. Of course, we do miss their best starters in Ian Snell and Tom Gorzelanny.
