  1. I sent 'em and email and told them to give a shout out to NSBB.
  2. From bad to just plain awful.... :x
  3. That two HBP in one inning?
  4. Are we gonna have to bring back the injury thread so these don't clog up the discussions....? UGH.
  5. I....uhh....this....why.... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
  6. I'm curious if the A's announcers will say anything about the cubs prospects, although they're probably more focused on their own. Let us know if they say something though.
  7. I heard something that MLB requires teams to have a certain number of starters in the lineup every day. That could be why A-Ram got his one AB and then left the game. I think they made an exception with the Giants yesterday....
  8. They're the best team on paper. I'll take Yankees for 300 Alex.
  9. *Even though he already bought MLB.TV for the month, very tempted to buy MLB Audio*
  10. Yeah. Opening Day = Overrated in Chicago because it's still cold as balls out.
  11. :D Good job man. Any music we should place this to?
  12. Not if the USA uniform gives him the power to walk on air!
  13. Five Chicago White Sox games broadcast this week but only one Chicago Cubs game? :x :x
  14. Indeed, and if I may suggest, you could edit your broadcast thread to inform NSBB members that MLB.TV will be carrying all the Cubs games during all of Spring Training, in case if anyone wasn't aware of that.. Just a suggestion. *shrug* I will once we confirm that's the case. For whatever reason, the MLB.TV Schedule isn't showing that every MLB spring training game will be available. They do say "And, get Spring Training games – over 80 games before Opening Day" in the ad to sign up ... but that could mean some, not all, ST games. If it's on tomorrow, I'll add it. Fair enough. Just by looking at cubs.com schedule, every game they play, it has the MLB.TV on the schedule. But what you mentioned makes sense. From what I've gathered mlb.com has posted a link to mlb.tv under every date for spring training as another way to shill that feature. If it's not listed on the schedule on the mlb.tv home page, it won't be on mlb.tv. The games before today were listed as being on mlb.tv on the Cubs calendar but were only available by radio. Yeah, pretty slimy imo.
  15. If you're still reading this, I know I enjoyed the story about Ryne Sandberg giving the pop flies to Dunston. I think a lot of Cubs fans identify with the older players, and it brought a sense of the Cubs history to the game.
  16. Oh my. I just remembered his brother is the pitching coach for the mid-market Brewers. I wonder if that won't be where he's going after this.
  17. But what good 2B are we going to get for prospects? (Don't say Soriano) Sorian - d'oh!
  18. Did someone know something we didn't? :P Len: Good broadcast today. If it helps, you and Bob bounced off each other really well today, I can tell you've spent a lot more time together than you had at the beginning of last year. PS. Feel free to post here often. Don't be a stranger!
  19. I bet you a nickel Pierre will get into the game by the 4th or 5th inning. That nickel would have been as good as mine! #-o
  20. Hoooooly crap. That is way too cool.
