    Other guy needs to shutup and let Stoney talk. I guess it's my internet connection as far as the feed goes. I used to be able to fullscreen it though, and now it's all choppy if I do. DLEEE!!!!

    Good. I think if they are going to do this thing they should do it right. If it is in the best interests of baseball to have this thing every 4 years they should shorten the season by the requisit number of games and have the thing in the middle of the season with ALL THE BEST PLAYERS representing their country and the starting pitchers going without a pitch count. It works that way in socer and hocky pretty well. Why wouldn't it work in baseball. I was talking about this at a bar with a friend last night, and initially shared your opinion. Shorten the season, lengthen the all star break (but don't have an all star game). But realistically I think a post World Series tourny would be better. Guys might be exhausted, but those who didn't make it deep in the playoffs can get their rest. If you start it in early November and end in late November, guys will have plenty of time to rest for the offseason. Tons of players already compete in fall and winter ball, so it's not that much different. I think either option would be better than the current one. This is just a bad time to have it.

    Yep, he should be catching the Rocket I believe. I thought that was their plan, a different catcher for each pitcher.

    I think a lot of people who don't like Pierre as the threat he is are going to change their minds over the season by watching him play.

    I agree that Buck is playing too much T-Ball. (everyone gets a turn) I'm sorry, but there is no way you play Texiera over Lee, and there's no way that Griffey plays CF over Damon.
