I don't think think it's a stretch to say we have the weakest defensive outfield in all of baseball. I don't think we've had ONE outfield assist all year. Jacque Jones can even hit the freaking cutoff man on a single. Side note: Time to drop Marmol to AAA and bring up Rich Hill. -
Bad start to the inning for Marmol, GREAT play by Ramirez, and a nice final AB when he Ks that guy on 3 pitches. He needs to do that more often, less walking and 3-x counts.

Jones actually gave that one a ride! I didn't think he looked that bad against Santana. Cedeno on the other hand, continues to struggle against LHP.

Castillo saw as many pitches as 3 cubs did. But decent inning for Marmol. Can't go 3-1 on every batter though.

Hope that's a misprint. 82-85 mph fastball isn't going to cut it. Not that I expect much from Miller anyway. Yikes. Unless he's the second coming of Greg Maddux that isn't gonna work. Worst. Offseason. Ever. :x -

See, this is another reason I made the poll....there's a lot of Neifi hate going on here. He hasn't been used that much this year, and when he has, it's been for a defensive infield when someone like Maddux is pitching. Walker/Cedeno have been playing almost every day. Why get rid of him when you can get rid of Jones?

Hey just be glad you're in league one. Which, coincidentally is where Grimsby should be. *curses playoffs* Gonna have to find a way to watch Grimsby games somehow next year. Somehow I think WGN won't carry them.... Nice with the scotch and Field of Dreams. Is that on ITV? I don't have a TV here :(

I was privileged to go to THREE Grimsby Town games last year (record in attendance 1-1-1), and the quality of play is quite a bit rougher and there is much less diving. As for me being up, I'm doing the essay that's due tomorrow. :D What's your excuse?
