    670: Investigation since November, a gun raid not a drug raid. Tank has already posted bail.

    According to Lake County Sun (or something) Tank had 6 firearms without a FOID card: AR-15 (!!!) .308 Winchester rifle .44 Magnum handgun .50 Caliber handgun And another handgun and rifle that I didn't hear. The buddy was found with a half-ounce of marijuana (which makes it a felony).

    Tank to speak soon in front of the Gurnee Police Dept in a few minutes.

    The buddy was charged with felony possession of marijuana. But then, the neighbors had been complaining of gun discharges I remember hearing. So the cops probably put those together and figured a raid was necessary. Probation could be revoked, and there only needs to be a "preponderance of evidence" (not beyond reasonable doubt) to re-instate the original jail penalty. Sounds like Tank's going to jail and probably soon.

    Oh my god, he didn't have a license for any of them. What a friggin' idiot.

    He's still on probation. That's going to cause some major problems. Oh boy. I don't know much about law, but I imagine that could mean jail time.

    It's a misdemeanor, unless it's "aggravated unlawful use", in which case it's a felony. What happened with his previous gun charge? That could play into it...

    So basically it means he transported it incorrectly, or was carrying it to and from somewhere in the open and/or loaded, but his house doesn't count. Also, I think six counts means six weapons. Yikes.

    They're sure it's his house. I guess last week he was having an interview with Jeff Joniak about how Tank still takes people in sometimes, old friends who are having tough times, who sometimes have checkered pasts. Sounds to me like one of those guys was wanted for drugs. They only question I think is if Tank knew about it. But I'm not sure that legally matters.

That was a sigh of disappointment. If I was calling bull I'd just say "That's bollocks". :P In that instance, I apologize. My lack of vocabulary kills me again, eh? ;) And for future reference, "The Dog's Bollocks" means a good thing. :lol:

    B&B saying that usually when they conduct these raids, they want the person to be home and catch them red-handed. And they're saying maybe that the guy who was arrested was the one they were after, not Tank.
