He should be, I'm betting Parker gets it. Even though he hasn't been the best player on his own team this year. What do Illinois guys think of Tyler Ulis? I kind of wish we would offer him, but I get why we haven't. He's really small and we want Lyle.

It's not really unusual. He'll get to practice and challenge himself with the best for a week or two, then go down to minor league camp and continue on. Doesn't say anything different about his development path, other than what we already know. He's extremely talented, and the challenge(however brief) will be a good thing for him. True, I meant if they really expect him to contribute by 2014 like some had suggested. I think that's asking a lot of him. -

You have the same disease we do. Selfish undisciplined kids. Ok I can get onboard with that. But our big problem is not having a point guard, IMO.

Will it? He hasn't recruited for crap since the big class. They have talent, they don't have leadership. They're getting smoked by a terrible NU team. Nu has been ok since the big ten started.

I thought it was Illinois team strategy to foul on every possession in the 2nd half. Maybe I was just as blinded by my bias as you Illinois fans were obviously blinded by yours. We fouled some, but the leading team at getting to the line in America this year is IU. They get there on average of 27 times a game. So Sparty got there more than that in a half. That's just obscene. We don't play good enough defense to foul that much. But hey, I guess this gets Soarty even for whathappened to them at IU. College basketball sure is fun to watch.
