  1. Lol reading up on recruits, I just assume that Eron Gordon will come down to KState and Illinois?
  2. 2005. That team almost chucked its way to a NC Quit talking about basketball. 62% of Head/Brown's shot attempts were 3's. They hit about 42% of them. That's fantastic outside shooting. I don't know why you take such offense to that Fantastic outside shooting isn't godless chucking. Godless chuckers chuck because that's all they can do. It was a great passing team (which led to open looks) with a good inside game as well. It was a very different animal than this year's team, which is prone to chucking. An NBA point guard gets guys wide open looks. It'd be nice to get one of those again.
  3. Man we've out played them and should be up more.
  4. His hands were all over him.
  5. Get Bertrand back in. You mean the 2nd best player on the team, who doesn't start? He's not even the 2nd best guard on the team. Abrams and Paul?

  8. DJ giving us nothing on offense, again.
  9. Terrible call.
  10. How does a guy travel while dribbling?
  11. Great Jim Jackson is calling our game against tOSU. Wonderful.
  12. Good to see your guys shooting like normal again. They really are bad at that. Hammons with 18 points 7 boards and 3 blocks though. As much as you guys hate Egwu he handled Hammons much better than Nix/Payne. I don't hate Egwu, just think he's very raw.

  14. I love the big ten network having alternate channels, but never using them.
  15. Nate Robinson needs to get hit by a bus.
  16. I mean this was Vince McMahon type crap here tonight. It's like they heard me bitching about the big ten and thought check this out.
  17. This is a farce. The ball was clearly out of his hand. The game is in Tucson, why are you guys surprised? And you guys pretend like Big Ten refs are bad. Ive never seen a still shot like the one this broadcast showed. Colorado has to play this under protest. They were robbed, no objective call you can even debate.

  19. Holy raping batman, they just took a game winner away from Colorado. Even though one replay clearly showed it was off in time, college basketball is a joke.
  20. Haha, fight worthy? It was less physical than when Paul obliterated Lawson that led to the free throws. Yeah that too was ridiculous. Both play was ridiculous. It was a foul on Byrd IMO. The thing was we tried fouling that whole possession and strangely enough they wouldn't call one that time until the mugging. In other words the refs helped out the home team by not calling the foul right away to preserve more clock.
  21. Sorry I do think it is an interesting debate. Big Ten referees are the worst. I don't think it's a call a B1G official makes on the road in conference play. I think you would be extremely pissed if it were called on Paul at Assembly. It was an end of game after free throw struggle in the trenches. Anything short of a punch or elbow probably isn't going to get called. He tackled our guy. I'd only be pissed because I have been conditioned to think that's ok in the big ten. I'm telling you in rec leagues that gets called. That's how fights happen. Haha, fight worthy? It was less physical than when Paul obliterated Lawson that led to the free throws. Yeah that too was ridiculous.

  24. That's not really his explanation, that's the actual rule from the rule book. Would it have been called the same if it was Paul? I don't know. I don't think you can say 100% it wouldn't have been. It was called correctly though, according to the rule, and he was legal calling the timeout even though he was leaning out of bounds because he was still on the ground. We could argue about the foul till we're blue in the face and never agree on that part of it. You really didn't think that was a foul? really?
  25. Agree on 1, 2, and 3. I don't remember 4. As for 5, I'm going to ignore the foul portion and refer you to Ken Pomeroy who quoted a whole bunch of rules on his twitter feed last night stating that what Byrd did was legal in regard to sliding/falling out of bounds/time out. http://www.ncaapublications.com/productdownloads/WBKB12.pdf Man, I don't know about his explaination of 5. I mean that may in fact be the rule, but that isn't at all how that is called. And do you honestly believe that had the roles been reversed and Brandon Paul got that rebound over Hammonds that would have been called that way?
