He's been going with Soto over Blanco for awhile now, why would he change that if Soto keeps hitting? Why would we go with Tracshel over Marshall when Marshall has had a very good season? What does that have to do with anything? Oh I don't know, Lou will go with a veteran over a rookie if given the chance.Then why isn't Blanco in their right now, and why didn't he start yesterday? The same reason Cedeno is in there. You think Rony is gonna make the roster? This is stupid. Blanco hasn't played in two weeks. You honestly think that Lou is going to take him over Soto? Yes, I think he will. Len and Bob have already laid the groundwork for it. Last night they talked about how hard it would be to leave a veteran back up like Blanco off the roster, because of all of his experience.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Marshall, but 7-8 with a 4.00 ERA isn't "very good." It's decent, but not very good. Find me another 5th starter in baseball who has an ERA 4 or under. Im not going to comment on the record cause his record is meaningless. Yes, he's done what a 5th starter is supposed to do, but illiniguy said he's been "very good," which is not the case. Very good is an ERA around 3.00, not 4.00. Ok he has been a lot better than Tracshel has been in about 5 years, that better?

    not for hank :( um, right. cuz lou will keep soto over hank. soto will be lucky to get a pair of playoff tickets Depending on how many pitchers the Cubs take for the playoffs, Soto could make the roster. I still don't see Blanco or Kendall bumped for him, though. Which is a joke. Pretty much any other team in baseball would have used Soto all freaking year.

    LaRussa views him as the leadoff in that 9 hole, with Pujols effective being the 4th hitter. Bwhahaha, just bat Ryan 1st and Pujols 4th. Nothing like taking an at bat a game away from a guy with a .371 obp. Didn't say I agreed, but rock on Tony! No I know, sane people don't agree with it.

    Thanks Jason, that throw to first sure is difficult. Soto playing everyday cannot happen soon enough.

    WGN has brought it this season. There is Family Guy, Scrubs, Reno 911, and sports. Big time improvement.

    Worry about it in days. If we win today and the Brewers don't great. If we lose and they lose, good we burnt a day on the calendar. If they win and we lose, bad.

    I think he struggles with the limelight. He was getting it when he imploded on the mound, then he was doing well as a hitter and his name gets mentioned in links to HGH. I think he just imploded again. Hopefully he does it all weekend against us.
