    Definitely possible. Yeah the Reds protest a game that means nothing to them, in which they have gotten the benefit of the doubt on several calls. Meanwhile the Astros called to ask me if I could pitch against the Brewers. Seems on the level to me.

    Thats more of an indictment on the Royals... not really jeff keppinger sucks. give him time he will hit back to his level of suck. I have to disagree. I've seen too much of him this year. He doens't suck. AAA: .368/.424/.469 Cincy: .337/.398/.484 This is the first time he has ever been given a shot, and he's producing. I think he is a AAAA player who gets to bat in hitter paradise.

    jeff i was cut by the royals keppinger is doing us in. cub baseball for almost 100 years.

    I don't place a tremendous amount of blame on him for that, but he did get a bad jump and take a terrible route to that ball. as someone else mentioned, Floyd has to be somewhere in the neighborhood there. When you get that bad of a jump you probably should play it on the bounce and hold hopper to third.

    It's games like this that make it suck when you're too poor to afford MLB TV and have to follow Gamecast. I have EI and am too angry and nervous to watch it too closely. We need a 1-2-3 inning here badly.

Phillips couldn't have laid down to touch second base from where he was at.
