  1. anyone else think the Self to OSU rumor has zero chance of happening?
  2. I bet that just breaks your heart.
  3. Good Bennett is a good coach, but the last thing the Big Ten needs is another grind it out coach.
  4. I was thinking maybe BJ Armstrong, but maybe that's maybe because both looked like kids. But Curry has better handles than I thought. His behind the back in the first half was pretty impressive, he missed the jumper but just to be able to split Rush and Arthur and get it off really bodes well for him.
  5. Awesome analysis. Well, I could say he won't be able to create much for himself much at all in the NBA, but I though that was obvious. I thought he created just fine. He will be even better when he has teammates that can play and everyone on defense doesn't center on him. Yeah, he will basically be a role player. Steve Kerr was a role player, I wouldn't say he was a non factor though. He was a non factor when not playing next to the greatest player ever. Like when he was a nice part of the spurs title? LMAO? You mean playing 10 MPG, smiling for the camera's and getting his ring? Yeah that is a nice part. Nah I was thinking where he went 5 for 6 from three in the playoffs. Either way the guy had a good NBA career and Curry should as well.
  6. Yeah by going to a small school he really was able to be the focus of the team and then having a tournament like this he might sneak into the lottery.

  10. Man if you are Davidson you will never get to that spot again. You have to have your best player ever shoot there. Have to. Oh well they had a hell of a run, and now we get the 4 best in a 4 game tourny for the title.
  11. That isn't a good thing. This tournament is boring as hell. I'll never understand complainers, I guess. This is going to have an amazing finish to the end of the touranment.
  12. Seriously. It's the only good thing about playing Davidson today. Talk about the quintessential no-win, added pressure situation. I can already see babyface bombing about 11 threes on us. I still don't think that will be enough to beat you though.
  13. awesome work by Seth Greenberg not getting Stephen Curry in at VaTech.
  14. At least we should get the best 4 to decide it.
  15. Huh so he had his two big years with the Cardinals and really wasn't much in the years away from St. Louis. Strange, that almost never happens.
  16. Two words: Ed Hightower. How in the hell is he doing a game of this importance? I don't know. I'm just glad to see he's in Phoenix, not Detroit. Yeah I bet. You guys had Valentine though.
  17. Two words: Ed Hightower. How in the hell is he doing a game of this importance?
  18. It maybe stupid, but I selfishly love it. I loved how much better it makes the college game if even for a year. Look at what it did for KState this year. For one year they were relevant. I do agree though I wish it were a three year rule. But, still the one year rule is ok with me.
  19. Especially since then the players they were coaching cannot leave without sitting out for a year. It is a really bad system for sure.
  20. IU should just hire Sean Miller. He will be very good for them and shouldn't be super expensive.
  21. At this point, I'd prefer Les Miles, Rupert Giles, Aaron Miles, or AJ Styles to Marcus Giles. A.J. Styles? he's probably a better athlete than most ball players? I admit I watch him wrestle. Why do you think I included him? Best pure athlete between WWE/TNA, as of right now. I would go with Shelton Benjamin myself.
  22. Isiah Thomas or Jim Harrick to IU?? =P~ There's a lot of talk that Tony Bennett is the favorite for IU. There is also a LOT of Pitino to IU chatter, as well. While I don't really believe that Rick Pitino will end up at Indiana, that certainly has been the majority of the scuttlebutt over the past week or so here. I can say that IU's administration not only seems adamant on a big name type coach, but some seem very proud of themselves as if it's just a matter of time. I have concerns because I don't believe them, nor do I trust their opinion of what constitutes a "big name." I like Tony Bennett a lot. Isiah Thomas is a big name. While I'm not concerned about Thomas actually getting the job, I'm still concerned about this big name obsession. Because, you're right, Thomas is certainly a big name. Someone was on ESPN (NBA analyst) said that Thomas just sat on the bench the whole game and has basically quit. I wouldn't want a guy like that near my school no matter what the name is. Plus the guy ruined two NBA franchises and the entrie CBA. He was a hell of a player, but is horrible at running a team or program.
  23. this is all truth. Ridiculous. Bo Ryan is a great coach. White people do not suck at basketball. If you belive one stereotype you give creedence to all of them.
  24. Man my bracket is so screwed up now. Guess I gotta just root for a bunch of upsets. Thought this quote was pretty interesting from the IU-Arkansas game "It's been frustrating, it's been tough, because these teams, they wanted to take my drive away," Gordon said. "Having that big 7-foot guy [steven Hill] in the middle to take away my opportunities to score on the inside. That's what I tried to do. You couldn't really get inside that zone, so you had to figure out other ways to penetrate." EJ you might wanna stay in school a year to figure out how to handle this situation cause in the NBA they have a lot of those 7 footers, and all of thm can play. Add that to the fact many of the guards are going to be bigger than you too. Sadly with the situation IU is in now I think he has to go pro.
  25. I agree, the Cubs need to identify and give more chances to players that are getting younger instead of wasting their time on guys like Hill that are not. Name a player that is getting younger. Name one. Yeah, sub 4 era, 28 years old, why waste time with a pitcher like that? What a ridiculous statement. Up until last year Roger Clemens. Then Baseball went and started testing for steroids.
