Good lord Bill Self might win a national championship. I am just hoping for one close game in this tournament that is well played. We haven't had a really great game since the WKU-Drake game.

Well but catching a throw right to you is hard. As is being able to run the bases.

One of these years we will accidentally have a team full of guys who actually excell at playing baseball. Fuku has to just laugh at the way some of these guys make pitiful mistakes left and right.

Reds lead 2-0 now. That Dusty guy is some manager. How many sac bunts have they executed today? They have a new strategy now. They whiff on the first two bunt attempts and then hit 3 run homers. Those cincy guys are clutch dude. In Dusty they Trusty.

Theriot is easily the 4th best hitter out of our pitchers. Marquis Wood and Z are all a lot better.

No I think he made it because we are the Cubs and this is how we do things. Just ask Shawn Estes, Jason Bere, Steve Trachsel, etc.

So. Cedeno has done well off of Oswalt before, yeah small sample size. and. The Cubs cried all offseason about how poor Theriot just wore down at the end of the year. Hmm, might be a good day to give the little slap hitter the day off.

Kenny Lofton. Please god don't bring back Juan Pierre. Please God don't bring back Kenny Lofton. Quit dicking around with prospects for half a season then burying them. Oh I agree. I don't think there is any need for either guy, but as people said Hendry is going to panic. It's what he does. I would rather give away money than get fleeced for more young players for Juan Pierre.

Huh? Here's BJ's age 20 season: .246 .302 .291 But, he wasn't a cub so he proved he could mash with those numbers.

Thankfully the Rangers traded away Sammy Sosa while they could before he discovered steroids. Yeah it is such a sure thing he did steroids, yet no one ever has come out in public and accused him. Well no one who is important anyways.

Porcello is going to make a lot of teams regret not risking picking him. Keep in mind that was in high-A yesterday. Oh I am well aware. I also read we thought about Parker. I would have prefered him to Vitters too. We do a lot better with pitchers.
