  1. Eh, he hit it hard. The pitcher just made a great play.
  2. well emoore there was another huge break we caught.
  3. Lol at Ethier deeking Soriano. Why bother. He is not going to be paying attention to the fielder anyways.
  4. Why didn't Joe call for any of the runs scored plays?
  5. Our pitchers have been WHIP machines lately. I have 0 faith in any of them not named Zambrano or Marmol.
  6. In AAA so far, he has a .116 average with a home run. You don't put ketchup on hot dogs, Bob. Don't care, he still was doing what Edmonds has here. This just reeks of Hendry and Lou thinking a guy over 35 is better than one under 25. Just like they did with Trachsel over Sean.
  7. nice sign Jimbo. What has he done that Pie wouldn't have?
  8. Man we are one lucky team. Having a very lucky week.
  9. [-X Two five stars. Crandall is number 12 in the newest rankings. But, we don't have Bruce Pearl, the greatest coach to ever coach a team. My bad. The rivals commitment list for Illinois needs to be updated then. He's currently listed with no stars, and I didn't look at names. I would've known better if I had. No biggie. I think Sulley is the only one who knew just how good Crandall is, he said he would be as good as Richmond and he was right.

  11. wait, you mean two years doesn't make a legacy? Legacy? Who's talking legacy? This thread is about basketball in 2008. Illinois is irrelevant. Indiana is not, and I was mostly just trying to get a rise out of some of you Big 10 homers. But, Illinois most definitely is. Now, if this thread were entitled "Historical College Basketball", that would be an altogether different story. Yes, top 15 in wins and winning percentage and final fours all time is definately irrelevant. Good lord. Here's to hoping you guys make a final four. Ever. Hell get back to me when you have more tournament wins than St. Joes or Western Kentucky. When irrelevance is mentioned the very definition is Tennessee mens basketball.

  13. Great man on third no outs for the cards.
  14. Even so, you'd surely have to admit that he's not responsible for the Cubs losing, right? Only not winning in the 9th. Answer these 2 questions for me: If he catches that ball in the 9th, do the Cubs win? Did the Cubs win? If Fukudome hit the ball into the river every at bat, do the Cubs win? Did the Cubs win? Right, because hitting a homer in every at bat is the same thing as catching a routine pop out. You missed Tranny's point. No I get it. This loss is on Lou. The guy is a butcher in left, you take him out once you get the lead. It isn't that hard to figure out.
