It would be the third day in a row for both of them, so yes, but that rules them both out for tomorrow. Huh, I would pry only use one today then. Let Cotts face Helton then bring in Howry. Then Wood for the 9th. Use Marmol tomorrow. Good plan or just get the win today?

Well if Demp can give us one more and looking at that lineup he should be able to, I guess he was ok. I just wanna see the offense get a few more.

Seriously, think about it - if I told you before the start of the season that on May 31st, the Cubs would have a 7.5 game lead over Milwaukee, you'd think we'd be running away with the divsion. Because they should be. St. Louis should be a .500 club, not a .600 one. IMO, they shouldn't even be at .500 Well, they have Pujols. I figure he would keep them around that mark. Plus they always play better than they should. But, this year is just ridiculous. Even my friends and family who are Cardinals fans think this is ridiculous.

Yahoo has him at 68. Yeah, he needs to start finding the zone so he can save the pen at least a bit. The pen isn't too bad. Lieber really was great yesterday.

He's wild, but he's not super-hittable at this point, HR notwithstanding. Yeah, but when he does get hit it will hurt cause he will have guys on through his walks.

Eh, they had a homer by Omar Quintalinia. They can't bitch too much about the wind. I'm not complaining. It's pretty clear they are intentionally trying to go to right today against Rusch. Well he does pitch away so that isn't a bad strategy to have, the wind is just a bonus.

huh? In terms of runs allowed, I'd call him "okay." I meant compared to what most of us expected. I thought he would have crapped out completely by now.

Dempster would walk the lineup if they would let him. I've been very impressed with Dempster this year, but he's been giving up way too many walks (and a lot of them to crappy teams/batters) all season for it to not eventually bite him hard. He has been ok, but if we get to the playoffs and are using him in the rotation we will be in trouble. huh? He can't throw stirkes, a good team. I.E. one that made the playoffs should be able to exploit that.

It's a sham. I am beginning to hate Saturdays. Yeah David Ortiz promised me "Evrey Gain Evrey Gain." Why would you lie to me David? I think that was an XM commercial, but yeah, it sucks. Oh, was it? Either way I paid 149 bucks, I should get every game that the networks don't get. Stupid MLB.
