  1. What can you do at this point. Everyone who knows anything about baseball knows that their team is garbage. But, yet once again, here they are.
  2. I think because they are in our division and winning games. That would just be a guess though.
  3. I put it more on lou still, why the hell is he still in there. He can't field. Take him out and move Johnson over.
  4. I'm pretty sure God doesn't give care whether the Cubs win or lose. He only cares if the NFL Cardinals are still in St Louis. She also cares about keeping Lute Olson alive forever. Dude, with the way Lute is running things in Tucson, this is a good thing. :D 2-1 Dodgers over Cy Welly as Martin hits an RBI double to CF. This is all true. But, I still hate the whiny little girl.
  5. Anybody else worried about the Dodgers sweeping us?

  7. Yeah, he got 2 runs. But he also basically allowed 2 runs. The blown HR in the first that he should've caught anyway, and the 9th inning catch (or lack thereof) 3 then. Cause they don't get the last one without him dropping a ball that most of us on here would have caught. most of the people at nsbb couldn't have caught that ball if you shipped it to them UPS. If you have played baseball at all before, I am thinking you catch that one. Apparently not, since Soriano has been playing baseball for about two decades. Yeah, but he is a butcher in the field. I am not saying any of us could hit a two run homer, but anyone should make that last catch.
  8. I wonder if we would be better with him at second and DeRo in left?

  11. What is it about this park too that causes us to blow games? They don't even have Macowiak anymore.
  12. I don't think a RH has ever put one in the river. If they have, that's really impressive. especially if they hit it to left If anyone can do it, it is Soto.
  13. Wood's up. I wonder if he has the gas can with him?
  14. The official scorer needs to be tracked down and bludgeoned. On the other hand it does help my fantasy team. well thank god for that. Yep, the blown game doesn't hurt so bad now.
  15. No way should Marmol get an earned run scored against him on that crap.
  16. I'd make him find his own transportation back to Chicago if the Cubs lose this game. I'm not kidding. I'd make him invent a time machine so that Hendry could be forced to put more thought into the decision to sign him. "Drrr....best player on the market must get monster deal" isn't cutting it. I really have to wonder about you if you could make a time machine, and this is what you choose to do with it. Well, do this, then kill Hitler. Nope, I am going to kill the guy who made baseball.

  18. I love how once we get to extras the offense all decides to scrap what works and just swing from the heels. That usually works well.
