    You know abusing Sheets and Sabathia is one thing, they are gone after this year. But, to risk Gallardo is crazy. I am so glad that the Crew has their own version of Dusty Baker running the team. Cause they have some damn good talent and that idiot will handicap the crap out of it.

    Congrats! It's pretty great. My boy is just about two months old. There are some downsides, of course, but it's definitely worth it. My mom already bought him a little Lee jersey T. I brought him home in a Cubs onesie... he was swimming in it, but I had to get him started early. The bad thing is all our kids are gonna think that the Cubs are always this good.

    At this point he is getting thrown out more than Coleman did the year he stole 130.

    I care more about them calling a curveball strike a curveball strike. In fact almost all the success a lefty pitcher has who is not named Randy Johnson is if the ump actually calls his curveball a strike anywhere. (They rarely do) Scott Kazmir and Fracisco Liriano do alright as well.

    The fact that baseball is going to use replay shows how little faith they really have in their umpries. They just miss way too many calls.

    Passed ball. Gerut scores. The ball gets away again. The umpire watches it instead of Gerut who is laying on the plate. They tag him by the dugout and he gets called out. Pathetic.

    Horrible call by the homeplate umpire. Just horrible.

    What happenD? just says flyout to center.. Im guess a real good diving catch? I'm guessing a robbed HR... gameday had it right on the wall.... Probably wouldn't have got out, but he made a leaping catch at the wall.

    god bless the royals. If there was an opposite to the World Series, the Royals and the Nationals would be it. They should have a "losers playoffs," where the last place team in each division makes it, and then the wild card with the second-to-last team in their division with the worst record makes it. What would the winners of this playoff get? the first pick in the draft.
