    any chance Josh gets promoted this year? Or is it too late in the year to worry about that? It might happen but it won't really accomplish much. He'll start next year at Peoria and 2 weeks at Peoria this season won't push his ETA up. Oh I know, I just want a chance to see him this year. I could do that in three weeks when I am back in Peoria for my cousin's wedding. It's still possible just for a taste, although Boise's season finishes after Peoria's. Yeah, I might have to convince my buddy to drive to Boise with me. He's crazy, but I don't know if he is that crazy.

    Yeah that is a nice chunk of change. But, the Royals had to do it. They are finally starting to draw a little again. They cannot just let the kid walk. The media would kill them for it down here.

    Psh, UCLA got the best HS pitcher. But KC has gotten the best HS hitter two straight years. Vitters was the best hitter. I have came around.

    Cubs could do that with Wilson. :( The A's could be very good. But, what is to stop them from just trading these guys away too? Sure they can, but they're hoping to cash in while these guys are young and cheap. Trying to pull a Marlins. I know what they are doing, and why it is smart. But, I don't have to like it. :lol:
