  1. Chet won't be gone. Apparently he has an offer to be a graduate asssistant. He needs to go elsewhere if he wants to be a coach.
  2. He misses more wide open threes than anyone who is a shooter.
  3. next year that will be d.j. richardson. next year that will be d.j. richardson. I have to do that to remain sane sometimes.
  4. Trent Meacham shooter.
  5. Why would they choose Anderson over Izzo? that's the debate, i guess. tubby smith is in there as well. they have their pick. I thought the Arkansas fans were nuts?
  6. Kansas is going to win the conference again. Congrats Big 12. Maybe if KU lost every player and had to play IU style, one of you could step up and win that thing outright. Self has to be coach of the year. if kansas wins the big 12 i'd have no problem with self winning COTY nationally, but if anyone besides anderson wins big 12 COTY i'll lose my [expletive]. That doesn't make any damn sense. Yeah, that confuses me. I think Self should win it, but I wouldn't have a problem with Anderson. He's done a hell of a job this year. I have a feeling he'll get it, too. People will write off Self's success because it's Kansas. And for the record, IG, I wouldn't be too confident about KU winning the Big 12. @OU, vs MU, vs UT still on the slate. Should handle UT and MU, but both are loseable. @OU will still be an upset, IMO, even if griffin doesn't play. Eh, I am buying into Self as a coach more and more. Does that kill you inside? No, it hurts a little, but Weber has started to turn it around in regards to recruiting. Self is a good one.

  8. Chester sucks. He is so overrated as a defensive stopper. Plus his decisions with the ball are awful.

  10. The Steve Lavin award? The Jerry Wainwright Award. End of discussion. Wainwright try and cover up any deaths??
  11. The Steve Lavin award? Yep, or the Dave Bliss award. But, give it to Roy this year.
  12. There should be a worst coach of the year award.
  13. If it was my team and they got those calls at home I'd be pissed too. I just think they were some really tough calls and I'm not sure they got many wrong. The one I thought was a bad call was with Wazzu up 5 and 2 minutes left. Rochestie threw the home run pass, after the save the shot was blocked and it looked like it went off WSU but they got the ball. That sideline call with Shipp it looked like it hit Thompson before he stepped out and then hit Shipp last. Then the one with 30 seconds left where they almost threw it away, Wazzu dude saved it, it looked like Holiday reached in and knocked it out last. The charge/block just couldn't have been a charge there. Dragovic was still sliding while Rochestie was coming down with the ball. He wasn't set and gave him no room to land. The charge block should have been a travel.
  14. The clock guy at Pauley is incompetent. He forgot to turn on the clock the final 19 seconds Thursday (with UCLA up). I'm sure he was giving a home court advantage today but he's screwed up a few times. That's awesome. I am sure he gets into the game. But, this one was bad as it ran, stopped, ran again.
  15. Wow I just went back and saw that. At least 3 full seconds elapsed with the clock stopped. That 3 should have been the end of the game. Yeah, it was pretty bad. But, the announcers didn't even notice. Although one of them pry didn't care. ;)
  16. The referees were awful, but so was the clock guy. Anyone else see the clock freeze for a few seconds on UCLA's possesion when Drago hit the three?
  17. How? They don't have anyone that can shoot and they can't guard anyone. Seems like they are as good as they should be.
  18. I saw him play on ESPN. He's good, but his weight might be an issue and his attitude is crap. Seems like USC would be a better fit.
  19. It was awful at the time. It would be awful if this signing never happened. This just puts its awfulness into perspective.
  20. Me too. TT knows how much of a Jordan homer I am. I don't know if he'll win 6, but he is good good good good good good great. He won't win 6 because there is another guy in his talent level in the league at the same time. Kobe is pretty much right there as well. Jordan never had anyone in his stratosphere when he was playing. They are in different conferecnes. How many times will the James title train run into Kobe in the finals? Once? Twice? True.
  21. jordan generally took the shot and, more times than not, made it. you knew he was going to take the shot and there was nothing you could do about it. i remember him passing to wennington at the end of the knick game in 95 and pax in the finals in 93, but jordan was taking the shot because he was generally the only one he trusted with taking it. Steve Kerr as well, but your point remains. Jordan was going to get a good shot. Me though, I would go with Kobe. He is like Jordan in that you know he's shooting and he usually gets a pretty good look.

  23. Except Penn State and Illinois both lose in the first round this year. (assuming they make it) We thumped number ten on a neutral court. Maybe the Big Ten plays better defense.
  24. We got the lead to 9 and then we do what Weber's teams always do. We let the air out. Awful. Some of his bad losses are really bad.
  25. you know thats not true. Lol. Look at our schedule again. Which one would you give us even money on winning? the home game against minnesota. That's pry the best shot. They detroyed us last time. They play in your face defense that will rattle us again as our guards are awful. I really think we lose out. well if you're thinking that illinois loses to minnesota because they got destroyed the last time they played, shouldn't they also beat ohio st since they whooped their ass earlier this season? Deron, Luther, and Dee lost to them up there. Color me less than optimistic these clowns can win.
