there's a lot more to this story than what you're thinking. no way was he forced off the team, there's just no way. And it's not no way man, we wouldn't do that to a kid. It's no way man, he was going to play 15+ minutes per game and would be our best returning defender. He was probably going to start, at least until DJ got adjusted to the college level.

I'll be there, but wonder if Vitters will get much time. Both Pedro Alvarez and Brett Wallace are also on the team. Gotta think the Cardinal is going to get the bulk of the playing time in St. Louis.

If Jordan was forced out you can kiss goodbye all the guys that were giving us looks because of WWWes. Weber would have to be a moran to do anything to force Michael Jordan's kids off the team.

While it does suck to have to scoreboard watch this early on, if this Cubs team can finally pick it up, especially wehn Aramis returns these NL Central teams may very well end up being very sorry that they didnt bury us when they had the chance. This is a division that nobody has any interest in winning, and the Cubs are talented enough to take it and be in first as soon as the ASB. The eight games before the all star break against the Crew and Cards will decide our fate.

I shouldn't have said dead last. Out of the teams that are trying to field competetive teams, we are at the bottom of them for team OPS. Is that better?

We are dead last in baseball in OPS. It doesn't take much to be better than us right now. There are 8 teams worse than us in OPS Not with RISP. Which is arguably all that matters. so home runs doubles and triples without RISP don't matter? Fukudomes runscoring triple doesn't matter? Hitting with RISP is very important but not important enough to say "were dead last in ops" and not add "with risp". Awesome we are better than the teams that don't even try to win. Way to go Jim.

We are dead last in baseball in OPS. It doesn't take much to be better than us right now. It's not just the offense man. Their bullpen is so much better than ours. Their bench is better than ours. Their manager is better than ours. Their team defense is better than ours. And before someone says I'm being overly negative - what really irks me, and I assume everyone else as well, is how much we've fallen from last year. This is just the epitome of frustration. I dont get it. We should be better. Losing Ramirez really hurt.
