I wonder how this would have played out had ARod not had his name leaked from the anonymous 2003 test he took? The one the union assured him that would remain anonymous and not at all be used against him. Without that, this would be his first offense at all, correct? And by offense, I mean clearly he did it, but the only proof they have is from another criminal. Stupid situation.

If you believe in Karma, you guys must feel like you did something wrong when the Johnson brothers go 6-6 from the line down the stretch. I don't know what the odds of that happening are but they've got to be pretty low. Between that and the one sticking the three while we missed like a thousand front end of one on ones lol, I felt it wasn't our night. I feel like anything we did wrong was probably paid off in full with the last 5 years of the Weber era.

We are starting to make inroads back into Chicago. Simeon is sending a lot of kids our way now. Hopefully that continues. Groce and Smith really seem to hit it off.

I'm entertained by how you act like this is a rare occurrence. This is the 5th year in a row Purdue has won in Champaign. I mean except when we won by 20 last year, at home. Whoops, my mistake. I remember being so pissed off at losing that game that I figured it must have been a home loss. Fair enough. You're 1/5 in the last 5 years on your home court. You were pissed off at losing to a much more talented team on their court? Interesting.

In all honesty he's what we need. He is a recruiter. Our talent level is so bad right now. We have no shooters at all right now. We really have two Big Ten level kids on the roster in Rice and Abrams, Hill and Nunn will be for sure. I still hate losing to an awful Purdue team at home though. Groce just needs to land a top level kid from Chicago. One of them has to have the balls to stay home. When we add Cosby and Starks next year we will be a lot better. If Cliff Alexander had any balls we would have been scary.

I think that's exaggeration. No one's going to run away with this conference this year. I guarantee this KU team will lay 1-2 monster stinkers like a loss @ texas tech, a home loss to OU. Something dumb. I think ISU will still be in the hunt for the title till the end. Like when Bruce Weber kicks.... No seriously you might lose at OSU. You might lose at home to OSU or ISU. That's it though.

But if you're the third or fourth best team in a conference -- at least one that does not include some juggernaut at the top -- then you have some chance to win the conference. I think Michigan State is a juggernaut. Greta point guard(Appling), another great wing(Harris or Dawson), and a great post player(Payne). I thought before the season they were in the Big Ten. And they still could be, but I don't think they've lived up to that just yet. I am with you, though, that I would be pretty surprised if a team other than Michigan State won the league. Looking forward to the IU-Michigan State game Saturday; certainly could be ugly, but Assembly Hall can make things difficult on superior opponents (yes, yes, homer officiating, blah blah). You guys really need that one. The Big Ten schedulers did you no favors early on this year. If Michigan State gets that one that's pretty big, like you said there won't be a lot of teams come into the fake Assembly Hall and win.
