Bob was ripping him last year when he had a much better OPS. lazy is lazy regardless of performance. Soriano has done more than enough this year to justify Bob's response even if it doesn't necessarily apply to that particular play. Bob has went out of his way to attack both Soriano and Milton all year. Yet does whatever it takes to defend Theriot and Fontenot. It's beyond ridiculous.

Bob likes to believe that all the squeeze bunts and hit and runs he called with the DBacks were the reason they won the Series. I hate to say it, but he's becoming a douchebag. You mean you actually think they won because of something else? I bet you prolly think it was the Unit and Schilling.

Bob being Bob. I don't have any problem with it. Soriano has no idea how to hustle and should be called out for it. The problem I have with it is he was the only guy to come through in the inning. Ramirez looked like a rookie in his first big league at bat and Soto couldn't make contact either. While Soriano might not have hustled, he did drive in a run which is more than we can say for anyone else in the line-up tonight. What would they have said if he would have been thrown out trying to get to second? He's being paid a zillion dollars and has a .760 OPS. Who cares if he came through one time.
