Even if this season isn't over, it's more just unhappy with where we are. I don't have a lot of faith in Weber running our program. I really dislike our offense, I know it worked in '05, but Deron Williams running any offense would work. Not much we can do though. As Sully said he's the guy we are sticking with.

How is what I said embarassing? How many weekends did we have like this under Self or Kruger? Hell we didn't even have weekends like this under Lon when he was having to rebuild the program. Weber's 44 - 30 since Bill Self's recruits left town...59% winning percentage, nothing to write home about for somebody coaching Illinois. It's also been 4 years since he won an NCAA Tournament game. I maybe in the minority here, but I just don't think the guy is that good of a coach.

Heh, no way. Weber has really just lowered the bar to the point where this doesn't shock me anymore. We've lost to a ton of mid majors under his watch. Tennessee State, Miami of Ohio, Western Kentucky, Bradley. We've also been beaten by really bad Big schools. Penn St. times like 4, Utah, Iowa, Northwestern. He seems like a nice guy, but we were on the cusp of being a great program and he's killed that. The new trend to of not playing the talented freshman is really disturbing. Paul should never sit behing Legion and Jordan. I can't wait to watch Jereme Richmond and Meyers Leonard watch Mike Tisdale next year.

I am getting to the point of wanting a new coach. He constantly gets out coached. Last night was awful. Tonight has been awful. Quit pressuring out to the three point line when you are playing Cole. He doesn't have the footspeed necessary to guard like that. we are stuck with bruce until he retires and jerrance is ready. That's too bad. After Self and Kruger, he's quite a step back.

It's all in fun Agreed. I'm just point plankn. What's up with the people in KC? Two decent games last night and the Sprint Center was about half full? Dunno. Iowa fans prob took a pass because they're so bad. Texas fans probably stayed in Texas to watch high school football practices. That's too bad, Texas is stacked. How the hell did UCLA let Jordan Hamilton leave?

LewJack did not play. Purdue didn't look that bad. Completely manhandled St. Jo's in the 2nd half. What is that trophy in your sig? It's the 1932 National Championship trophy. The picture accompanied and article about how the team was driven to make the Final Four in Indy this season. Eyes on the prize. That's just plain sad. I'm proud of the 32 NC and have mentioned it to friends before when they say we've never won one but I sure as hell wouldn't be using like this. It's not really something to brag about. It's cool and nice but doesn't mean much to any other fan base and most of the time I mention it they laugh. We have a helms title. Doesn't mean jack to me.

That's what I remembered about Paul too. Weber has done that a lot recently. Abrams and Leonard committed very early also.
