  1. Agreed, I still would have had two guys on him though.
  2. Bryan Davis had a lot to do with the chippiness. I love his hustle, but he causes a lot of problems. It started when he threw a little shoulder into Collins as he was walking to the FT line. I saw a thread on a KU board with a lot of people ripping Turgeon and I was quite surprised. I thought he was well liked there. I know I sure like him and hope he sticks around Aggieland for a long time. KU is a great team and we have showed twice now that we can hang with them. Unfortunately we haven't been able to finish either game. I like our team and think we deserve a 5 seed and should make a legitimate run at the Sweet Sixteen. I think a lot of KU fans think he's kinda whiny. They probably wouldn't mind him as much if he A: hadn't made a big deal about KU not playing WSU when he coached there. B: Didn't seem to constantly whine as aTm's coach. I think in the end, people still like him because he's a Jayhawk, and if Self left, I think a lot of people would list him as their #1 choice to replace him. ETA: Turg is the kind of guy who you love if he's on your side, but he's real easy to dislike if he's not. Very animated, a straight shooter, very fiery. It comes off bad sometimes. I don't really see Turge as a whiner at all. At least no more than your average coach. He is definitely a straight shooter and doesn't go in for a whole lot of coach speak. I know that rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but I like it. He complained about the tournament being in "Allen Fieldhouse East," and he said he just hoped the game would be called fair. Kinda tacky. But mostly, I think TT summed it up perfectly. I agree with you, though, that Scott Drew is much worse. I can't stand that guy. I would think an Ex-Jayhawk would know the best venues for Kansas players, no?
  3. You guys are gonna win it all, but having seen most of your games you have played really well for maybe 5 halves all year. Very odd team. The only reasonable explanation is poor coaching. You bite your tongue.

  5. You're in good shape. No way he hits both of these free throws.
  6. Why is Jeff Jordan in for our best ft shooter? Why is Bill Cole in? Oh cause our coach is a clown.
  7. Both Hartzell calls. One from across the court.
  8. Yeah I live about 5 miles from it, yet can't get it in HD.
  9. are you watching or listening? watching. the tv guys have been hinting about the calls being very pro Wisky. the radio guys have made it seem very pro Wisky. They called a foul on Brandon Paul when he wasn't in on the play.

  11. Another crap call
  12. Another awful call against Illinois.
  13. Wow, terrible call on that travel.
  14. Yep, friends with Weber.
  15. Had Jordan shaking his head.
  16. They forced out his mentor. No way he wants that job.
  17. And it would be 3 times in 7 years. And the reason it happens is because ND never schedules anybody out of conference and still manages to lose a game to some horrible team in noncon every year. (In '05 and this year they added Rutgers losses in conference for good measure) Shh!!! Let him think that the world is out to get poor ND.
  18. That was pretty awesome. These are easily my two favorite point guards in the league.
  19. How is that not a McDonalds All American? ](*,)
  20. I think he will end up being a better player than Richmond. yeah, i think i'm on record as saying that, too. You said Head would better than Richmond too Yep, although in his defense he didn't know a major knee injury was in the cards for Crandall.
  21. The problem with lists like this is if you make them sensibly, nobody will talk about them. I really doubt he left out Clark Griffith to create controversy. Whatever, when Clark's fan club finds out about this all hell will break loose. Imagine if John Kruk knew who Clark was, can you imagine his reaction? Me either.
  22. It's the NCAA's goal to ruin the best thing in sports. Who the hell is Jennifer Hudson?
  23. Surprise? No way did Cal bend the rules. I refuse to believe that. Your right. There is a difference between bending and breaking. Cal did the latter. You're not your. You're. Cal has yet to be caught doing anything illegal. Thus I refuse to believe he started cheating now.....
  24. that sounds about right except mccamey IS a good basketball player. when he wants to be He did average 15 and 7. Not too many Illini point guards put up numbers better than that. Plus he did it while having to have a ton of pressure on him. I.E. when he plays great we are pretty good, when he plays average we suck. I thought he had a hell of a year.
  25. He apparently had some hip flexor issues, but I think a lot of it was just him wearing down over the course of a season. He's a good player, no doubt. I didn't mean to insult him, just wanted to point out that D.J. had a really good frosh year also.
