  1. You mean like how he pitched really really well for us in his first start? How many World Series did Jeff Weaver help us win again?
  2. gotta tip your cap to a stud like Suppan. :hello:
  3. Other positive (for now) news: St. Louis is down 2-1 after 6 to Houston. That won't last. STL has not looked very good in this homestand against the measly Astros. Their pitching has though. Starters are just all gonna be Dave Duncan fixes this year I guess.
  4. Yep. Your 20 million dollar left fielder should probably be good enough to play everyday as well.

  6. Casey Mcgehee can wake up and be a career minor leaguer again at any moment. ](*,)
  7. Hopefully our guys are paying attention to this as well. Make Suppan throw some pitches.
  8. That's awesome Casey Mcgehee gets the call on the road against our ace and yet Aramis Ramirez doesn't at home against their bum. Both were strikes, but Aramis' was more of a strike. Lol, fair enough.

  10. Lee's a pimp. That Drunk Furcal probably cost him the Hall of Fame.
  11. Howling out. sweet, we better mash Suppan.
  12. I believe they have an organizational focus on getting their pitchers to be able to go deeper into games. To my knowledge, they don't put too much emphasis on pitch count. Not sure I'd completely put this one entirely on Washington. yeah maybe that is the nolan ryan approach. still, i would think that when it's early in the season and you're dealing with a young kid who's making his second start of the year and hit the DL three times last season, you'd probably want to show some discretion. I think Nolan is going to find out that not everyone is able to do what his arm was able to do.
  13. I'm pretty excited. That without our 2nd best hitter too. Sorry, I'm an Aramis guy.
  14. I think Hart's confidence is broken. He isn't the same guy he used to be. Ever since he lost that epic douche-off with Hunter Pence. Awesome.

  16. Why does our offense suck? If they could hit Randy Wolf they've be up by a billion right now. When did we play Randy Wolf?
  17. Agreed, If I ever moved from Chicago, I would likely pick up a partial season ticket package to the local team, especially if it were an AL team. That's what I did. It's pretty awesome. But, partially because I'm a big autograph collector and going to the games give me a nice chance to do that when I'm one of 300 people there each night.
  18. I got the Royals. :banghead: Haven't even been to the K yet cause my buddy got married opening weekend. My fallback team is the Twins. I'll have to train myself to get excited about them. That shouldn't be hard, they have a pretty good team in a crap division. Yes, but it'll be tougher to train myself emotionally; to get excited when they win, for my heart rate to go up in tense situations. Eh, I'm always a Cub fan. I'll be here even if we fall 30 out.
