  1. I am suprised Kerr would make that joke.
  2. Mike Miller is so important to them. Without him they are gonna struggle having two guards who struggle shooting as much as LeBron and Wade on the court as the same time.
  3. For as unseflish as LeBron is, his teams never look all that pretty on offense.
  4. Miami looks good. I think they get 72 points this game. That's what everyone meant by do they get 72 right?
  5. That was hardly the only illegal act that helped that KU team win the title.
  6. The smarter pick would've been Tyreke Evans. Taking Curry would've meant putting him at SG and that would be a disaster. And I'm sure Durant would've been more than happy to sacrifice points to Evans. That'd be an unstoppable combo in terms of going to the rim. Another good one. Harden was just an awful choice.
  7. I laugh at OKC and think how good they could have been had they picked Steph Curry instead of James Harden.
  8. can we talk about how much we hate his weird face and dumb hair Out of the three guys I mentioned Deron looks like a super model.
  9. Let's all talk about how awesome Deron Williams is. Screw Rose and Rondo.
  10. Are you tight enough with the Morningstar family to get tickets, or are you just a porn star? Pornstar.
  11. Isn't Langford essentially a poor man's Henry? They're around the same height and play similar positions, although I guess Langford is more of an undersized PF. But if UI gets Shaw, it seems as though we'd be wasting a scholly if we got Langford. I'd rather get Shaw, see what Randle does, and get DeJuan Marrero or a Gary Harris (unlikely) in 2012. We already have a scholarship for Marrero or Harris in '12, and like I said, I'd bet a lot of money we have at least 2 even if we took 5 guys in '11. Yeah take 5 now if possible. Leonard and Richmond won't be here long. I'd rather have Leonard as an NBA team than B.J. Mullens right now.
  12. I live too far away, unless Bill wants to do a home and home.
  13. It would be a lot easier of a decison if theyd take someone like JJax, Carpenter, or Coleman instead of Archer, but thats pretty much the type of package that youd have to give up for a guy like Greinke unless its a salary dump or they were trying to rush him out of town, but neithers thst case. With such a package however, we should be able to get Alex Gordon as well if we were to throw in another smaller piece. How would it not be a salary dump? He's going from 7Mil to 13.5Mil. Nobody else on the team will make more than 4Mil. Oh and Alex Gordon has no value. He's a 3B turned OF, who hasn't shown he can hit well enough to be valuable at either position. His minor league numbers have not translated and next year will be his 5th year in the majors and he will now be at the age where he doesn't have a lot of time to figure it out (27). Absolutely agree on Alex Gordon, and I might also add in that he's a injury riddled guy who likes to talk out of his flaming a**. Every season, not to my surprise, there is always an Alex Gordon article about how he wants to improve and gonna dominate, only to translate a .210 batting average, 1 HR, 3 RBI's before landing on the DL with a phantom injury, and abiding his time in the minors throughout June to August, and be back in time in September call-ups, which coincidentally I might add, that scrubs/AAA/AA minor leaguers players get called up, and his numbers looks a little "better" somehow. Alex Gordon is trash, to sum it up. I'd still take a flier on him if he were to come cheaply, but I doubt the Royals are ready to give him up for peanuts I love how every year they can't find at bats for Alex so they have to move him to the minors, but Mitch Maier can play the outfileld and get 500 at bats while adding zero value.
  14. I understand why, look at what we have lined up if Shaw commits on Thursday like expected. Three stacked classes in a row. UI has never been able to do this three years in a row. Randle is gonna regret not taking that scholarship big time. Especially since his old man is a die hard Illini fan. Langford has to see the chance to play on some pretty stacked teams.
  15. I don't care about 2012 at all. Get Shaw and then take Langford. Keep the scholly for 2013. I want Parker bad.
  16. 1. Why are you posting premium information? People pay for that. 2. Scout blows. 3. Its pretty apparent Randle wants to be at Stanford, and would be if it weren't for the distance. Truth is no one will know where he's going until he says where he is going. Man, that's too bad. It will be his loss. But, I can't fault a kid for wanting a degree from Stanford.
  17. He's like a month younger than Deron Williams. Sad thing is, you're not joking. I only referenced him because as average as he is, he has some experience. At the end of the season, we'll have very little experience on the perimeter, and we'll have no guys with a reputation for being scorers, unless Selby or Marcus come back. I know I coulnd't believe it when I read his birthday on one of the programs they gave out at Late Night.

  19. By all accounts, he wants to go to KU, but his mom and hangers-on want him at MU. Never hurts to have mom on your side, but it doesn't guarantee anything (Beal's family wanted Beal at KU.) I think KU will snag him. At least I hope. We need him bad. How do you need him badly? You just got the number one player in America last year and have pretty good depth in the backcourt. Because if Selby gets cleared, there's a good chance he'll shoot to be 1 and done. Also a chance Mc Morris goes pro. Reed and Morningstar (blah) will be gone. So We'll be lean on scoring. Elijah Johnson, Tyshawn Taylor, Royce Woolridge, Travis Releford, and Naadir Tharpe don't inspire a lot of fear, although EJ and Taylor could be good. Hard to say, especially w/ EJ. I still think a lot of KU fans are panicking. All I am hearing now is how Self isn't getting it done on the recruiting trail. Many have said that Ben is the lynch pin. If MU beats them for him they are going to go into panic mode big time. I don't get why. Self has always got the job done.

  21. Was that done before Robbie Hummel's leg exploded?
  22. I've heard that the Cubs have kicked the tires on this on one of the radio stations down here. The AM dj guy thought that the Royals would want BJack, Cashner, and Archer.
  23. That was on a judgement call, can't review it. A similar play featuring a much less egregious case of fan interference in the OF was reviewed in Reds-Phillies Game 3. They made a mistake then. Baseball doesn't care if it benefits who they want it to. They obviously don't care see who is calling balls and strikes tonight.
  24. That was on a judgement call, can't review it. The TBS graphic said fan interference calls are reviewable. And that was definitely interference. It also is bad buisness to hurt the Yankees.
