  1. Magic doesn't get the respect he deserves. At all.
  2. Illinois, before we get trounced by a mid major and give Weber a lifetime extension. And then I shoot heroin into my forehead.
  3. Perry jones is monster overrated right now.
  4. Watch Baylor beat Mizzou now. That would be typical Big 12.
  5. Yeah, how does this happen to a team with two lotto picks, at home? It's inexplicable. 23-4! We need a drew weber coach off. In Kansas high school basketball.
  6. Yeah, how does this happen to a team with two lotto picks, at home?
  7. He is still 13 and 3 against Minnesota. But yeah, I'm sure you do.
  8. What's interesting are the reactions of the posters at the House of 'Paign Hoops Fan Forum, on the whole I would classify them as denial. Many of them refused to admit Weber' record the last 7 years is average at best, excuse after excuse is written for Weber. With Chicago as a recruiting ground there's no reason Illini shouldn't be in tournament every year. Those people are insane. There were signs in '07 that Weber was in over his head. Not seeing it now makes me think they're fans of other big ten teams.
  9. Prolly depends on who it is. Did you see that klee said one of the assistants was fighting with Weber? "staff doesn't fit together."
  10. I agree, but the point remains this whole situation is fucked. Thomas needs to act fast or at least let Henry and shaw know they need to wait to decide until after the year. Also man the rest of the '13 class is gonna be [expletive].
  11. If hes smart he stays, I think if Langfords being forced to redshirt he's gone. He had nagging injuries and was 7th on the guard depth chart. Was he even healthy enough to play until Big Ten play? He was right to redshirt, and not playing for 2 years of high school, PLUS giving up a year of eligibility is really dumb. I agree, but from what is being claimed he was promised immediate playing time. And the poster saying this has been ahead of the curb on many things. FWIW.
  12. If hes smart he stays, I think if Langfords being forced to redshirt he's gone.
  13. Paul would be stupid to go pro. Can't you get a hardship waiver (or something similar) if you redshirted and then transfer? Yes if he's set out a year he should be free to go wherever he wants besides in the Big Ten without penalty.
  14. He is signed, unfortunately. Another weber speical. I hate Purdue so much for this clown. Used to kind of like you too.
  15. I'm assuming he won't start though, he is a frosh after all. They explode if you start them.
  16. I've also heard Langford. He doesn't want to redshift and was forced to. Thomas needs to fire Weber today. So next year we will have, if both Leonard and Paul go pro. Abrams DJ Griffey(maybe) Egwu Iggy Yeah that's a 10 win team.
  17. Wow, apparently there are going to be mass transfers happening on the Illinois basketball team, according to the loyalty board. Mike Thomas needs to step in and try and salvage some of this team.
  18. Doesn't NJ have a ton of money to spend?
  19. Yes he's better, but not by as much as bulls fans would like to think.
  20. Right because before this year deron hasn't been a winner. He got just as far as rose has. And he did it in a tough western conference.
  21. Maybe dwight prefers playing with deron?
  22. Yeah cause putting him with Deron Williams will keep them garbage.
  23. He's a Notre Dame fan, he sees the football poll. He knows that.
  24. His confidence is shot as well, those attempts today were pathetic. Oh well, we developed some top 100 kids today. Henry got 54 seconds, Egwu got 8 seconds, and Shaw led the dance pre game. Maybe Weber' gone and he knows it which might explain what he was trying to do today. Some desperate attempt to save his job. He's an arrogant smug man. This is the end and he knows it. We will get a lot more amazing interviews from him in the coming weeks. He's already took two shots at the fans this year. I'm sure more are coming. If you didn't want pressure, don't take this job, that's why the 1.7 million a year comes along with it. Go get Shaka Smart.
