    Everyone knows what's wrong with him. He has a knee injury that he says won't be 100 percent until at least the offseason. The organization made a plan for him that involved regular days off, and they've stuck to that. Exactamundo. Knee injuries are a bitch.

    Joe Torre feels that Barry has an unfair advantage that players like Aaron didn't have because Barry doesn't have the fear of being hit. Knock-down pitches were a part of the game back in those days and weren't punished at all. Torre said that Barry can basically stand up there as if he's at batting practice because he knows that pitchers rarely pitch inside, much less hit batters very often these days.

    Good post jjgman. Soto should be the backup catcher, not Koyie Hill. At first I was reluctant to want to cut Koyie Hill because he had been catching Z during his run, so I figured Z's recent run might have to do with Hill's pitch calling, but Kendall has caught Z recently and Z is still just as good.
