Someone told him his ex-gf was doomed, he believed it, and was concerned. I'd question him as a person if the thought of her being doomed made him happy. Baseball intelligence is all that matters to me. Babe Ruth and Joe Jackson weren't very bright individuals but they understood the game very well. ....but I do gotta say, that's pretty dumb.
