that's nuts. Definitely has to be from the 20's when the KKK was attempting to be somewhat mainstream. I believe that massive rally with the tens of thousands of klansmen that you always see pictures of was around that same time, '25 or '26.

Tiger Stadium - Mickey Mantle's last few games as a pro. Denny McClain, as a sign of respect, purposely grooves one down the middle of the plate and Mickey hits one out, passing Jimmie Foxx. It was his second to last home run. -
