  1. Rebs up 9-3 in the 8th. Bring in our best pitcher. He gives up 6 runs to those stupid effing Hilltoppers and we end up losing a game we have no business losing. At least we play tomorrow. Stupid Rebels.
  2. a black middle infielder is one of your favorite players, Joe? Shock
  3. Virginia beat UC-Irvine, SUHWEEET!. If UCI doesn't win their regional and the Rebs win ours, then we host a Super.
  4. Thought this was interesting. There are only 5 players still playing who made their debut in the 80's: Randy Johnson Gary Sheffield Jamie Moyer Omar Vizquel Ken Griffey Jr.
  5. he won't even be in the game much longer at the rate this is going.
  6. please don't roll over Nuggets
  7. Maybe I just haven't come across it, but I've never read or heard anything that would suggest that Hurdle didn't have the support of the players.
  8. Yeah, since 2002, the same time Hurdle came in. Firing Hurdle is just stupid though.
  9. they should have fired the pitching coach YEARS ago. Firing Hurdle is stupid.
  10. Indeed, he's really outstanding. I've enjoyed listening to him tonight.

  12. slashed a black man for being uppity. jeeeez, get it right...
  13. Considering hitting ability, power, patience, speed, baserunning, and defense, who would you say are best at each position? I'm gonna go with C- Ivan Rodriguez 1B - Jeff Bagwell 2B - Joe Morgan SS - Honus Wagner 3B - George Brett LF - Barroid CF - Willie Mays RF - Frank Robinson
  14. The Babe hit an umpire?? No way! He was a lovable oversized kid. He'd never do anything like assault umpires (did it three times) or charge into the stands to attack fans (did it twice).
  15. had that exact same feeling watching that. it was almost painful.
  16. I wish the Expos were still around. I loved driving up to Montreal for a weekend of gambling, drinking, strip clubs, and a cheap ticket to a sparsely attended major league baseball game. just wanted to say that strip clubs in Canada effing rule.
  17. omg, they aren't calling ANYTHING against the Lakers. Jesus.
  18. Dunn absolutely demolished that baseball. Holy Smokes.
