I was just thinking that Crazy 08 would make an OUTSTANDING miniseries like on HBO or something similar to John Adams or Band of Brothers. A single film probably wouldn't be able to contain all the information necessary for Crazy 08 to be a cohesive story, but a 7 or 8 part miniseries would be terrific. Think about all the characters that would be prominent in it, guys like John McGraw, Honus Wagner, Rube Waddell, Frank Chance, Three Finger Brown, Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Johnny Evers, etc. Also, how cool would it be to see the Merkle Boner played out on screen?

This is another terrific one: 1907 World Series Gm.2 (Oct.9) Detroit v. Chicago (West Side Grounds, Chicago). Jack Pfiester is pitching for the Cubbies in this shot. He had an incredible career year in 1907, going 14-9 with a 1.15 ERA and had a 216 ERA+.
