So yeah, the Mormons took out our top 3 RB's in a single half of football. Our #1 (one of the top RB's in the SEC, Brandon Bolden) and #2 are out for the season. Stupid Rebels.

We still have guys today that could manage that many innings without their arms falling off. Basically in the old days you HAD to be that guy to be a starter or you just didn't start, period. -
Missouri seems like it'd be an almost perfect fit for the SEC. It's not particularly far away from Arkansas, it'd be one of the better academic schools in the SEC (I think), and it'd bring in viewership from the St. Louis/KC area - one the SEC currently has no presence in at all. Virginia Tech would probably be a better fit, but Missouri would be really good as well I think. In my opinion, a good 16 team, 4 division SEC would look like this: WEST Missouri Texas A&M Arkansas LSU SOUTH Alabama Ole Miss Mississippi State Auburn NORTH Kentucky Vanderbilt Tennessee VA Tech EAST South Carolina Clemson Florida Georgia

Pedro certainly had the best in our lifetime. Probably second to him in our lifetime would be Maddog's 1994 when he was 16-6, 1.56 ERA, 10 CG, 3 SHO, 271 ERA+ In recent history I'd go with Bob Gibson's 1968, 22-9, 1.12 ERA, 13 SHO, 258 ERA+ In the old history I'd say it's easily Walter Johnson's 1913, 36-7, 1.14 ERA, 346 IP, 11 SHO, 259 ERA+ -

The line on the MS State v. Memphis game tonight is MSU by 29 at Memphis. Put a decent amount on Memphis. I rarely sports gamble, but 29 on the road seems excessive, even as bad as Memphis is.

Jordan Jefferson is about to be kicked off LSU'd team I think. Dude is in some big time trouble. Also, cops seized 49 pairs of sneakers from his apt. I don't think I've owned half that many shoes in my entire life.

There was a moment when he was looking up at the sky with mouth agape for a few moments that was totally like some of the little leaguers I coach. It was glorious.

I do have to say that he is setting up extremely late in the clip. The pitcher is in the windup before he shifts his weight. He did seem a bit aloof in that video. Probably didn't deserve to berated like that though.

I can't believe MLB has that as one of their posted highlights. I'm not really that surprised. I mean, I've never seen that happen or even heard of that happening on the big league level.

Yep, seemingly once they pointed it out and went with the picture in picture they were going to pick on anything they could to develop the storyline. Having his back to the plate was pretty damn inexcusable. Wow...yeah that would be an issue. That's pretty weird.

Umm...taking your glove off in between pitches? I swear it's like Bobby never played ball himself. What a stupid thing to criticize someone for. That's about as dumb as criticizing a player for moving around in between pitches.
