I'm a huge Eli homer but he has never and likely will never be a top 3 QB in the league. He just isn't. The fawning over him lately is pretty silly.

I do. Same here. Other than being extremely jealous of him, I've never had a problem with him. Seems pretty cool to me.

I love Eli and most of my friends do, but we are obviously biased. As for him "making faces" after incompletions and receivers running bad routes, I think the only QB's that I see NOT makes those faces are Rodgers and Brees. Eli makes pretty much the exact same face as Peyton does. I don't think Eli is a bitch. Dude took a massive amount of abuse last night and didn't ever lose his composure over it. Guys like Brady or Peyton get touched more than three times in a game and they get all bitchy. Eli is up there with Big Ben as far as toughness goes.

It might also be a player safety issue. Don't want someone to get hurt who is playing full speed because they mistakenly think that the ball is live.

The D-line of the Saints has some decent talent with Will Smith and recent 1st rounders Sedrick Ellis and Cameron Jordan. I'd like to see them do more though.

His physique reminds me a whole lot of Patrick Willis. If he can be coached up to be just half the LB P-Willy is, I'd be thrilled.

I was never a huge fan of Williams if for no other reason that he constantly played Scott Shanle who has never been good and has been especially terrible the last two years. Martez Wilson needed to be playing LB every game this year. Dude can be a beast.

random, but just came across this on twitter. Not saying Dale Murphy should get in because I don't think he should. I don't think he had the longevity that most voters want. He did have a hell of a peak though. Murphy had a six year peak where he averaged .289/.382/.531/.913, 145 OPS+, 36 HR, 105 RBI, 110 runs, 18 SB, and won 5 gold gloves.

Sorta. They forced 5 or 6 turnovers and just barely won the game. I don't know if them not winning by 21+ points is a testament to Brees keeping the Saints in it or the Niners offense not being all that good. They do have a great defense though. Saints receivers were rarely open and every time a defender got to the ball carrier they arrived angry. Picking Giants though. They seem to flourish in these type games.

Giants missed a field goal too. 30-3 could be
