  1. Machado continues to flex his ten cent brain
  2. Wow. He was doing it in front of the cops too. He’s way done.
  3. He's such a throwback. Everything you read about players like Cool Papa Bell, Ty Cobb, or Germany Schaefer being such unpredictable menaces on the basepaths you get with Javy. It's just magnificent.
  4. At least Cardinals fans are probably more frustrated right now than we are.
  5. This 2 out grand slam is gonna be so brutal
  6. So glad we wasted that challenge earlier.
  7. Good lord, A-Rod, Wainwright isn’t even remotely a HOF candidate.
  8. What channel is this on?? I can’t get it on the mlb.tv app
  9. I think OMC was saying he was just doing the math in his head which is immediately what I was doing. But could be wrong. Yeah I had to figure out the math. It’s not too complicated. In fact, a 56 year old-ish great grandfather is probably much closer to the norm throughout human history than what we would consider to be the normal age for a great-grandfather.
  10. As a former prosecutor I guess I should say something. Prosecutors have prosecutorial discretion to prosecute whatever they want but will generally defer to what the victim wants (especially on misdemeanors) unless there is some evidence or feeling that the victim isn’t cooperating for untoward reasons (think battered wives, etc). Padres Bro could definitely still be charged and still might, but it would only be a misdemeanor assault charge and the municipal prosecutors probably have their hands full with other stuff.
  11. ermagerd. Congrats on the assault charge, broseph. https://twitter.com/bradleyemery2/status/1392888517634691077?s=21
  12. As long as the ump didn't signal infield fly rule he could have
  13. I don’t believe in clutchness but in his Cubs career Heyward has shown a remarkable habit of never getting a hit when it matters
  14. And Willy just hit one 103mph for an out.
  15. Yeah, that was brutal.
  16. Has any Cub ever looked less like a ballplayer and more like an insurance salesman than Matt Duffy?
