  1. I used to watch Letterman a lot but I've been watching Conan a lot more lately. I'd say Conan is the best with Dave a close 2nd.
  2. and he sacrificed his groin...that's more than most could say
  3. Just remember...if the Cubs are getting blown out, don't be afraid to run onto the field and tackle Pujols. We'll all be proud of you.
  4. Then, Varitek K's, Millar gets a sac fly but Ortiz thrown out at 3rd, run still counts and Red Sox lead 5-4.
  5. I have the same problem, but actually, if the thread is longer than one page, then you can click on the link for the page number and it'll work.
  6. A bit harsh to call him the worst ever, isn't it? Never figured out how he always made a roster - career OPS barely over 12 My Favorite - the fact that his name was changed to that (born Zuck) shows exactly how bad he was Tony Suck...hahahahahahaaha
  7. I don't have a good feeling going into this series. We obviously don't have a lot of momentum after blowing a late inning lead today, losing our 2nd in a row to a crappy Reds team. just win one please
  8. Clement not fairing so well. He's given up HR's to Konerko and Rowand in the bottom of the 4th and the BoSox are down 4-1.
  9. I still don't think Dusty will play him. He sat the kid down after a 4 hit night. I still see him only getting PT against lefties.
  10. I don't know what that means. Dunn's batting average is low and he strikes out a lot. Those are the only stats that matter for hitters.
  11. According to baseball-reference.com, Mueller was traded in September of 2002 to the Giants for minor league pitcher Jeff Verplancke. Tucker was traded in December of 2001 to the Royals for a PTBNL that ended up being minor leaguer Shawn Sonnier.
  12. If we get Dunn, I'd like to see Murton in RF next year. If not, I guess we could stick with Burnitz in '06.
  13. But Rocket, Dunn strikes out a lot and has a low batting average. He isn't clutch enough. We already strike out enough. I've decided to use green as the color to indicate sarcasm.
  14. He also has 30 RBI's with RISP, which is only 8 less than Aramis has this year with RISP. Just look past the batting average. Not to mention Dunn's OBP with RISP is .460
  15. way to go Rocket. you probably pissed off Dunn too and now he won't come to the Cobs.
  16. Ugh. I started reading the first part of his post and got pumped. Damn you.
  17. Dunn would be an awesome addition to this club, no doubt. The guy's got an awesome OBP, SLG and OPS. When you have a chance to add a guy with a .940 OPS to your lineup, you need to do it. People just need to learn to look past batting avg and his K's and look at the important stats.
  18. We need relief help by the trading deadline. Not Dunn. A good bullpen would have saved the game. We need a LF'er. Murton is hitting well, but Dusty refuses to play him against righties. Holly is below average. Same with Gerut.
  19. Oh good, Neifi coming in on the double switch. ](*,)
  20. We need some insurance. Come on offense.
  21. This Valentin guy is murdering the ball.
  22. Wow, Pena swings at just about everything.
