He worked a couple decent AB's, but the problem is, a lot of the pitches he fouled off were out of the zone anyways and he should have just layed off of them. Pitchers are just constantly going up and out of the strike zone against him and he always goes fishing for it. If we're going to contend for a playoff spot, we really can't put up with Corey's lack of production much longer. Seriously, how many contending teams out there have starting CF's, or even starters at any position with an OPS as low as .661? That's what Corey is down to at this point. Something needs to be done. Either move him to 7th or 8th or find a taker for him through a trade. Putting him at leadoff, with a .274 OBP, is just plain insanity.
