  1. same. 175 spots exactly.
  2. great to see the mets in mid-season form so early in april.
  3. [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo] someone give these three their own show.
  4. andrew cashner shut down for the second time this spring due to bicep soreness: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/18863146/texas-rangers-right-hander-andrew-cashner-shut-2nd
  5. remove your love for the cubs during this moment for one second: that rajai davis home run was horsefeathering awesome to watch. it tied up a game 7 of the world series two outs in the 8th inning. outside of a series-winning home run in the bottom of the 9th or extra innings, as a baseball fan, what more could you ask for? i watch the replay of that home run on youtube as much as the positive cubs playoff highlights. it's a HOLY horsefeathers moment.
  6. Pretty much, and at the same time if it bugs you or rubs you the wrong way I don't think it's all that hard to ignore whatever David Ross is doing in off the field stuff. Not when every thing he (or anyone else does) off the field is retweeted and/or commented on by every single baseball writer/blogger/teammate. And, again, I'm OK with him getting as much money as he possibly can get, particularly because he's nowhere near as rich as most of his teammates were or will be shortly, but "Dancing with the Stars" and playing with the Harlem Globetrotters? Who really gives a horsefeathers? you can choose to ignore that stuff if you so desire. i don't care if any 2016 cubs player decides to shill huggies, depend adult diapers or slinkies at this point: they've won the world series and let them reap the rewards for doing so. rather david ross be on dancing with the stars than turn full curt shilling and start spewing hate about immigants.
  7. When this is all done, I'd love to have you publish your notes. I would also love for someone who is really good at video editing to try to compile all these into one long video. Maybe put graphics up to introduce each one with the titles bukie made. sounds like a job for logan!
  8. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/18732954/sammy-sosa-maintains-was-clean-open-return-chicago-cubs the amount of vitrol a good portion of the cubs fanbase has for sammy sosa is astounding.
  9. mets shut down zack wheeler "for the day" after experiencing tenderness in his elbow: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/mets/zack-wheeler-shut-day-experiencing-tenderness-article-1.2973547
  10. day 2 of spring training, right?
  11. what's the consensus on harold baines? i see a player 134 hits away from 3,000 but a bWAR of 38.5 over 22 seasons. do people look at him as having a good career?
  12. isn't vizquel a poor man's ozzie smith?
  13. they're walking glowsticks
  14. i love playing at the polo grounds in the show.
  15. milf, eh? https://www.instagram.com/p/BPDSAAKgOEJ
  16. Dexter's highs were pretty high but the lows were so brutal too. I've seen every episode of it but I enjoyed the good parts so much that I can't name it here. I still can't believe the ending actually happened. seasons 1 and 4 were great. seasons 2 and 3 gave us classic prose like "pardon my [expletive]" and "surprise, horsefeathers!", but season 6 will always be remembered for this horsefeathering gem: [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  17. i love boardwalk empire, warts and all. one of my top 5 favorite shows. i want to add the original macgyver to this list. seen every episode and it hasn't aged well but hot damn it was fun to watch.
  18. number one with a bullet: dexter.
  19. bagwell bonds clemens vlad martinez raines ramirez rodriguez schilling sosa last vote was between sheffield and schilling. looking back, i should've voted mussina over schilling.
