  1. MSU has finished much stronger since Dantonio took over. Though 2 weeks in a row they lost JL Smith style. The ending today really sucked
  2. The easiest prediction of the week is a team that lost to a MAC team last week beating a team that's rolled up nearly 1,000 yards of offense in two games? At their place? If it weren't for this ridiculous streak, which can almost completely be blamed on Davie and Willingham (the only good ND team MSU has beaten in this streak was 2005), no one would be giving Michigan State a chance. just like a narcissitic ND fan, completely oblivious to the fact that MSU also was coached by a couple of boneheads. :)
  3. MSU over ND...easiest prediction of the week
  4. Its really hard to feel bad for Notre Dame over bad officiating;) Honestly Andy, one thing that I have found out in my 40 some years of watching FB. There are probably going to be some bad calls that go both ways, focusing on those instead of why your team really lost is going to not bring about improvement.
  5. Good read. I dont think it even mentioned the obvious. On 4th and goal from the 1 USC mans up and scores a TD....OSU kicks a FG(losing all momemtum)
  6. Its really short this year because of the olympics
  7. That is the problem with pre season polls. After the first one all other polls are based on last weeks poll. Top 5 team losses, they drop a certain amount of spots depending on who they lost to. It no longer has nothing to do with looking at the entire season of work that a team has given.
  8. I think OSU made a huge momentum mistake going for the FG on the 1. Its been all USC since
  9. I would have taken OSU and the points.
  10. Kick Return, tough fumble, stupid passing with 2 mins left. Notre Dame sure did shoot themselves in the foot several times. OSU looks much better then USC except for the int
  11. I felt really bad for the others going in tonight. They were really overshadowed. But, came away from that with a ton of respect for Stringer. Her story should get a ton more play than it does. I did also. The other entrees were much more classy than Jordan though. Jordan is the greatest player ever, no doubt, he is a bitter person though.
  12. All things considered I think both Michigan and ND are top 20 teams
  13. All I have to say is I cant wait to hear Lou Holtz tonight.
  14. does michigan realize that time is not endless in Footbll
  15. Also seems like everytime Michigan gets ND in a long yardage situation they only rush 3...doesnt seem to be working
  16. Michigan has no other corner than suckoco(33) I dont know how bad his back up is, but this guy is terrible
  17. I dont know why but this has the feel of the game 3 or 4 years ago when ND was favored and Michigan just came off their 6-6 season. ND fans seem a little over confident about this one.
  18. While previewing the ND/Mich game they looked at each teams schedule the next few weeks. Herby, Corso, and others just assumed that MSU would be easy games for both of the teams. this seems to be a huge oversight to me.
  19. He said Illinoiz today
  20. I have been critical of the SEC in the past for calling themselves the best conference but their power teams schedule weak non-con. I have to give them some props for picking up the scheduling some.
  21. Not sure it was terrible. It was the wrong though. 4 different refs called it, so its not like it was a huge miss by someone. We have the benefit of slow motion replay, in real time it did look like a head shot. They should err on the side of caution with those calls. Unless you know for sure it was helmet to helmet keep the flag in your pants. I would rather they miss a couple penalties than have a DB punished for making a great play. Really, erring on the side of caution would be making that call everytime. It is also not a great play, its like calling someone a great hitter for hitting a hanging curve out of the park. WRers going up for a ball over the middle is the easiest hit in FB.

  23. After reading more about the situation at Michigan I am actually more concerned about them this year than I was. I think one of the problems with Michigan in the last years of Carr's regime is that they were "soft". I know it doesnt solve their QB issue, but having players in good playing shape can only be a positive.
  24. 9-1. :?: Michigan's record against your Nittany Lions the past 10 years. because Michigan was cheating, clearly Yeah I am sure Penn St never practiced more than the NCAA rules allow
