  1. I think the main reason Kane has a target on his back is because he is prone to stupid retalitory penalties when you hit him
  2. bulin that would be pretty stupid considering he stole a cup from them in 04 and has outplayed kiprusoff again so far this series its pretty standard chant to opposing goalies after giving up a goal. Especially in the playoffs
  3. if your stick is in an opposing players skates, he falls...its a pretty standard penalty It also helps when they fall down when they see your stick come towards them. Thank God the refs HAD to call the slash. listening to you, one may think that the flames have the 4-2 PP advantage
  4. if your stick is in an opposing players skates, he falls...its a pretty standard penalty
  5. bertuzzi is sssllllooooowwwww. He was slow when he was younger, he is painful to watch now
  6. lol Shame on me for not agreeing with the Hawk Harrelson of the Hawks thread on NSBB. :-)) Sorry about the misunderstanding...I was agreeing with what you said nilodnayr
  7. Yeah, Walker was just trying to wipe a smudge off of Iginla's face, how could Jarome get that upset?!?! He got elbowed. But I thought he wasn't retalliating? Face it buddy, these scrums after freezes are normal for hockey, they're a give and take. Get used to it and stop complaining. Its not that the refs are out to get the hawks when out of 6 scrums there are no calls...maybe its that you don't know what should be a penalty in hockey (especially after a whistle). I know you watch a ton of hockey, plenty enough to know this, but it seems like it hasn't sunk in. Thank you for making sense
  8. I don't have a problem with them not calling roughing there. I like letting them have a few small skirmishes during p-off time. Thats fine as long as we don't get a [expletive] roughing call behind the Flames net which will inevitably happen. Oh look ANOTHER crosscheck without retaliation! how come you havent complained about Campbells 2 hi sticks :)
  9. I still think the Sharks are going to win that series. 0 for 12 on the PP. Anaheim cant stop taking penalties and those PP will even out
  10. And neither of them are A.J. Pierzynski, so they have that going for them. sooo true again sounds like a consensus...if only all disagreements here at NSBB were resolved so easily
  11. you know, I have just decided that I am not going to get into an argument about who is a bigger douche between Bonds and Sheffield...it is a very sizable douche no matter who side you take
  12. I was there 20 yrs ago and thought it was the second best ballpark I had ever been in. A couple of the newer ones have passed it, but I am going to have to go check it out again.
  13. No. You can say what you want about Bonds, I dont think his effort has ever been in question. I dont think you can make the same claim about Sheffield That makes him unprofessional. Bonds is still a bigger douche. Shef has his issues for sure, but Barry is a deluded, narcissistic, racist, ego maniacal piece of crap. I dont disagree, but I would rather have all that as long as he is putting in effort, then a guy who is intentionally not playing hard because he wants to be traded.
  14. No. You can say what you want about Bonds, I dont think his effort has ever been in question. I dont think you can make the same claim about Sheffield I seen Sheffields breakdown of HRs for teams played. The most he has hit for anyone was like 150. That was for the Dodgers. Has there ever been a player who has 500 HR that didnt have at least 200 for one team? My guess is there may only be a couple who dont have 300 for one team
  15. I am very happy with myself that I have decided to not record myself watching Ballgames and posting them on youtube. I think this may be the soundest decision I have made in my life. what is odd is that he actually does seem to have some solid baseball logic
  16. does anyone here do Hockeystreams.com? it appears the rest of the Wings/Blue Jackets series will not be televised...is it worth the $4 a day to get to watch those games? I am inquiring about the picture quality mainly.
  17. I disagree with the righfully so part...unless you mean they are frustrated because they have not put enough pressure on in front of Luongo...so they pick stupid fights to show how frustrated they are They picked the fight because of the classless trip at the end when they are down 3-0 with 20 seconds left. Which they wouldnt have cared 2 cents about if they won or been within 1 goal and actually playing to tie...so they let their frustration get to them, led by their coach. But they weren't within one goal or close to winning, which is why they took exception. So yes, their frustration got to them, and rightfully so. It's the Blues fault for not winning... but taking exception to a dirty play by sore winners is just common sense in hockey. Except the NHL has already come out and said they are going to punish players for trying to "Set the tone" for the next game. Also did you ever consider that maybe the team that you were cheering for had already started teh cheap antics since they were beat. This is very possible since teh teams that you cheer for never commit penalties, do cheap shots or lose in a fair game.

  20. Dallas scored one from the red line on a dump in against Detroit in OT back in the late 90s
  21. I agree cyno, this is a very entertaining game
