    Meaning you assume they will lose game 5, or that they have no chance of winning a game 7? I meant game 5. I'm stupid. I think the only must win happens when you are down 3 games...that being said, the team that wins game 5 in a 2-2 series wins like 80% of the time. I just made that stat up, but I do know its a huge advantage.

    Sucks knowing we'll get DESTROYED against the Sharks or Wings... we have to play one of them. Last I checked, the Sharks are having trouble with the DUCKS. If the Ducks win that series, we wouldn't play the Wings till the conference finals anyway. Yea, we have problems with the "FLAMES". EDIT: The Wings already won, the Canucks already won. #2 Wings #3 Canucks #5 Hawks #8 Ducks We would play the Canucks. Sharks are going to come back...

    Yes Barker messed up, never pass into the middle of the defensive zone unless you know you have the puck squarely on your stick, he should have went back up the boards or a wrap around

    I think the Flames got a couple of lucky bounces (bad pass) to take the 3 goal lead(though they were outplaying the Hawks)...Hawks really came back and worked hard to tie Should be an awesome 3rd period...I am glad it is tied so that should prevent any stupidity

    dont look to bright with the Flyers and the Capitals though where has Ovechkin/Kopitar been? not a uber awesome hockey player but the NSBB poster and most knowledgable hockey fan

    I didn't understand why that was being called a head shot. Had it actually been, the result of the impact would have been much different. possibly true...sticks break pretty easy though and if it got him on the helmet I could see it not doing much damage. Lucic cross check LaPierre on the face and it didnt seem to hurt lapierre. Of course he was standing still as opposed to moving into his check. Lucic did get suspended for his cross check. If Burish gets suspended it will be more about the time and intent and not the actual hit.

    I get the feeling Tortello may scratch Avery...I just watch the highlights of that sequence and wow. I am not sure what to make of Avery and his antics. They are not intent to injure or anything like that. I wonder what would have happened of Erskine didnt step in? Varlamov doesnt speak English and seemed like he didnt care.

    5 games tonight 3 really interesting games and for me the Wings. I predict the Sharks hammer the Ducks tonight, Flyers and Hurricanes even up their series. I think the Blues are done and the Blue Jackets show up strong tonight(dont know if they will win but they will make this a great game)

    So I have been perusing some NHL/Hawks/Flames boards. I watched some of the festivities from last nights game. I noticed that during the dancing match that was going on over by the benches...The PA system was playing a Rage Against The Machine song(Renegades of Funk)...I dont think Calgary understands what that band stands for. Also after rewatching the incident I am going to change my mind about Burish being suspended, the cross check was on the shoulder. It looked like a head shot when I seen it last night. The NHL may still suspend him though since it was clearly done to set the tone for the next game, which they have come out against this playoff season.
