    Agree. I am a little surprised that some Red Sox fans are gloating about this. I would be wondering how legitimate our 2 WS champs were or just saying that this issue needs to be cleaned up for the health of the players. To gloat because a former player got caught while playing for another team is just logically wrong.

    I think the amount of people who would have to know about some sort of Boston/LA conspiracy makes it impossible. Wouldn't that ref, who went to jail last year, have come out with information on this if it was true or even plausible. I am much more inclined to believe that our emotions get in the way of watching a game objectively.

    Pittsburgh is only been slightly better defensively. It is entertaining hockey to the casual fan, unfortunately for the NHL it will not win any Stanley Cups. I have a hard time seeing either of these teams beating Carolina or Boston. I am wrong quite often though.

    A lot of discussion on Hockey Boards about Ovechkins hit on Gonchar. Most everywhere outside of Pittsburgh it seems only the Ovechkin haters are calling for his suspension. Personally I dont think the refs got the call right last night(should have been a major) but it is not worth a suspension. I do wonder what would happen if Chris Pronger did the same knee to knee on Nick Lidstrom? My guess is he would get suspended.

    I agree it is probably Freel. I actually liked the Russell Branyon suggestion also. However, a trade for Cantu would not decimate our farm system, it is already ranked at the bottom of baseball. So the trade would really really decimate our system.

    Caps 3rd goal was like from bizarro world. Short handed, looked like they were on PP, Cap player just skating around knocking every Penguin he could find over, Goal is scored. I wish I would have had the guts to pick Carolina over Boston. Carolina is going to make the cup finals

    Yeah, I wasn't directing that comment toward you. I have to believe NHLN is on just about the same number of televisions as Versus, and it's televised locally in both places, so how many people can possibly miss the game if they want to watch it. TSN is somehow affiliated with ESPN, right? I do not have NHLN or CenterIce. TSN is ESPN in Canada I do believe.

    Wings/Ducks not on TV this Sunday. There is no other games going on at the same time...this is kind of odd. NBC is carrying a big golf tourney, but what else could Versus be showing? Bull riding

    POUR IT ON The Wings can demoralize a team sometimes with how they just always have the puck. I hope they do pour it on in the 3rd...of course I fully expect Anaheim to begin their goonery real soon
