Do they carry over at all to the next game? No. The game misconducts will be reviewed and possible fines handed out. The funny thing is there is no way they would hand out these types of penalties if the game was actually going on. The Wings would have a 2 min 5 on 3 and than 2 more minutes of PP. So not only do they not matter, they wouldnt have handed out these types of penalties if it did. I dont understand what Getzlaf was thinking. The Ducks played their best game of the series. Detroit was frustrated. So instead of going to give your goalie a high five for playing well, he starts a fight after the game. The NHL isnt going to hand out suspensions for this, but you are pushing the envelope. Also, Anaheim has looked the best during this series when they quit acting like goons and skate hard, like they did most of the game yesterday. It was almost like they were told to behave the entire game and if they do they can goon it up as soon as its over. I also dont understand why Getzlaf didnt get a misconduct.
