Great weather, national exposure, proven path to the NFL, hot chicks and a hell of a football tradition. Why would a stud recruit want to go anywhere else? USC fan? rooting for usc is kinda like rooting for the republican party, i think. Not really, the Trojans are a lock - McCain is the underdog.

If you actually looked, you'd see that I am one of those who hopes the Cubs do well if the Cards don't. You probably think differently since I call your bias out, but I do. Congrats on the win and the season. Would you like me to post that at GWRB? I figured it would be more appreciated here. Say hi to Gateway Snake, Omaha Red and all my other fans over there that love me.

The Cardinals have a huge following throughout most of the Midwest thanks to KMOX carrying their games and having a huge reach throughout the US from the 1950s until about 2006. It's surprising how many Cardinals fans you'll find in those areas. from going to games where the cardinals played the phillies and red sox, i have to conclude that the average age of a cardinals fan is 97 years old. 97 is also their average IQ. -

All the exposure the Cubs get as a national team with a broad following really bugs Cardinal fans as the Cards are primarily a regional team with most of their fans in Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and central and southern Illinois and Indiana. Milwaukee and Sox fans hatred stems from a well deserved inferiority complex. -

Can't blame them..Sandberg is scum..a real loser off the field too. Maybe they are just comparing Ryno to past and present Cardinal heroes and all around great and cheerful guys like Enos KKK Slaughter, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Garry Templeton, Mark McGwire and Albert Pujols. No doubt many Cards fans love Slaughter more for his views on, uh, racial equality. Is it true his statue in front of Busch II has a hood on it? -
