    It took LeBron for me to root for Chris Paul. Never has a superstar flopped, whined and bitched the way LBJ does. AD on that team makes them easy to root against.

    So I know I’m not in the desired demographic, and outside of Black Panther and Guardians I’ve never sat through a Marvel movie, but this is really bad.

    I was going to say the same exact thing. You play the 10th and 11th and if still tied, you get a tie. I hate the idea of a tie just as much, if not more, than putting a runner on second base. But why not compromise... if the game is still tied after the 12th, go ahead and put a runner on second base. Still not ideal, but it allows 3 extra innings for a "true" finish, while also all but eliminating the possibility of a 16-17 inning marathon. I’ve long thought this was the right spot to land.

    Count me as someone who doesn’t see Kellen Mond succeeding in the NFL. He just doesn’t throw with any touch and looks either great or awful at times.

    As an ND fan, I appreciate everything he did for the program, and he had some gutsy performances. But after the first beat down by Clemson in the CFP, he was always tentative in the pocket, and I’m shocked any pro evaluator watched film and actually thought he could make it in the NFL. If everything goes well, he’s probably a poor man’s Chase Daniel. Oof. Still, Payton may see him as a new gadget guy. The beat writers down here are all but calling him Taysom II.

    Awful. Just freaking terrible. Moore and Kamara together would have been terrorists at the LOS. We could have traded down and gotten this dude. Yep, there's that. Who knows, this guy could be the next Cam Jordan, but that's not the point. They could have traded down to get this guy, as you said. They could have traded a 3rd or 4th round pick to move up a few spots and take the CB Newsome from Northwestern, or stayed put and addressed the needs at WR or LB depth. I read this morning that there are now 8 guys that can play defensive end on the roster, and 4 CBs, including Lattimore who might be suspended to start the season. The leaves Patrick Robinson (who was moved to safety) and 2 guys I've never heard of at CB to possibly start the season. Just weak.

    I’ve heard comps to Drew Brees. To me, there is only one Brees, and hundreds of un athletic, so so armed “touch” QBs that flame out.
