    The rumor is that the reason the Dolphins did this firing today instead of Monday was that they have the inside track on Harbaugh once he was fired at Baltimore.

    Progress? The Hawks won their 18th game last night. Last year, they didn't win their 18th game until March 1.

    There is a very real scenario where the Bears could play 3 home games in the playoffs against the Packers-Panthers-49ers.

    The Bears are 7-4 in one score games this year, Cherry picking just the negative is what Wilson does.

    The entire NHL is very mediocre right now, with 27 teams between 41 and 53 points. The top 3 in the Central, though, are well out in front of everyone else. Mostly because there aren't really any terrible teams right now, even the Hawks are competitive at this point.

    Jets become the first NFL team to not get a single interception in the regular season.

    If the Bears score any first half points next week, it'll be the best first half performance against the Packers this year.

    Illinois has had a total of 8 seasons with 9 or more wins over their 127 year football history. 2 of them have come in the last 2 years. This has been a wildly successful run for the program.

    They dropped 9 in coverage. The Bears' play wasn't set right, half the team wasn't sure what they were supposed to do. Johnson said as much in the postgame press conference, they were unable to get the full play in at the end because it ended up being a bit hectic. Caleb tried to create anyway and spiked the ball a bit, otherwise, Walker has that and they win.

    He was wide open because Caleb was backpedaling to avoid a sack 30 yards away from him with no chance to get the ball there.

    The big thing on the last play that was screwed up is the Niners rushed 3 and one came through unblocked while 3 Bears linemen were just standing there with nothing to do.

    Yeah, I'd guess that CAR-TB is Saturday and PIT-BAL is SNF.

    There's still a small chance next week's Panthers-Bucs game is meaningless, because if Atlanta beats the Rams and Saints, the Panthers win the division in the case of a 3-way 8-9 tie.
