After Howard, who is an all-star caliber center? Lopez, Bogut, maybe Bynum would be better options than Noah? Does Duncan count as a center too? I guess it depends on your definition of center. There aren't many guys who play traditional center anymore, but it's not like the all star teams have requirements that you have to play a certain % of minutes inside the paint to make the team. Lee, Howard, Horford, Bosh, and Garnett were the frontcourt players to make the team from the East last year. I don't see Noah as being on any of their levels (Even with Garnett's decrepitness) On a level of efficiency, Noah trailed only Howard, Bosh, Lee and Bogut among all bigs in the East, and was basically even with Garnett (Noah led slightly). Granted, that doesn't really take much defense into account aside from rebounding, and the Knicks were built to be nothing if not statistically efficient at the cost of defense, but Noah is at least in the discussion after Howard and Bosh at this point. Whether he can stay healthy with the foot issues, though, is another problem all together.
